Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion

The tan is the color that bothers me too.  I guess some modifications may be in order.

I kind like it, to be honest. It should fit nicely with my WV.

I am really, really, really curious with and afraid of the main set. I can feel it flopping in the air tonight!

I love it!  It looks whimsical and fun, like Santa's Elves, and it has an Elf, always wanting to build my elf army.

I havent seen a pic of the delivery truck yet but, after rading the comments here, it’s really interesitng and strange to hae combination of colors. Is this supposed to be North Pole vehicle rather than the real world even if it only has Santa? I am curious about the hot air balloon set.

It has an elf minifig so definitely North Pole themed.  Too bad they are using a green elf torso yet again.  I'd really like some more red ones.  It looks like it may be a new print though.  Elf hat is green also.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned here, but looking at the picture (I can only find the one) on IG, the sticker doesn't just say "Post," it says "North Pole Post."  The "North" and "Pole" are in those little red banners on each side of the green shield.  Makes you wonder if the title of the set won't be North Pole Post Office.

I gues that makes a lot of sense when kids mail thier letters over to North Pole Post Office!

Normally many sets have already known what they will look like for a few months but nothing is known about the 10339 yet

Either it is awesome, or it sucks hard. My heart wishes for the first, but I am very afraid of the latter...

I believe the main set is going to be equally as whimsical as the Santa's Delivery Truck set.  Unsure if the color schemes will completely coordinate, but I imagine we're getting a set akin to the Elf's Clubhouse, and I'm fine with one of those every 3-4 years.

I am tired of wating, why is Lego so mysterious. Some hints or low quality pictures would be nice in late august or early september.

Relax, people. They've been tightening things up lately...we know this. We also know it'll go on sale at the beginning of Oct, with the possibility for VIP early access in less than three weeks. Not much longer to wait.

This. I am prett sure the next Winter Village set will be revealed in mid-September or later but who knows.  Only the Man Upstairs know..

I can't remember where I heard it, but I believe there was information in the last month or two that the WV set would be revealed on September 22nd, or about there.  I hope it's not that late, but it wouldn't surprise me.  Lego knows how anticipated each year's WV set is, and I think they're happy to draw out the drama.  I'd still like some teaser shots, like they did with the WV Fire Station several years back.

It will be presented on the Skærbæk fan weekend (if not before?) this year (28th of September)

On FB there are more details on this set. It is Santas post office. It will have 3 elves, 1 hot air baloon pilot and one Santa Claus.

But i dont know how to post picture, it is too large.

It looks great! I like the chutes for the mail, that's fun. I hope they provide sufficient letter tiles for it.

The new curved pieces really help with the snow covered roof.

Why is there a fireplace on the outside?

Not sure where 1440 pieces go though. It looks pretty small for that. But it looks fair for $100.

Not sure if I'm just geting old and cynical, but I don' love it. It's not bad, just not magical. Feels a little empty inside. And honestly, like the the Elf Clubhouse did the same thing, but better.
