So it was your brother...:-( .

I looked at the paper and there was nothing. I think I put it down somewhere.

"I wasn't there that morning

When my brother Stinky passed away

I didn't get to tell him

All the things I had to say

Great song. Rock on Mike Rutherford!

So what was this new job Dan?

Great song. Rock on Mike Rutherford!

Mike Rutherford stole my career. I wrote that song. But the studio said I didn't have the "boyish good looks" of one Mike Rutherford. They paid me for the song but produced it with Mike and the Mechanics. That is why I lost myself to the sea... :'-(

Yeah Dan, Skipper-tell us all about this new job...

So what was this new job Dan?

We got a tip that there was some sunken treasure in this area, but we weren't able to find anything... that is when we got your distress call.

Interesting coincidence...

I haven't seen Geno since he investigated the Minnow. Does anyone know where he is? *wacko*

Dan pretty much summed it all up.

I haven't seen Geno anywhere, but I think he did say my boat was clean.

Did you know anything else about this treasure? Stuff like;

1. Country of origin

2. Nature of treasure (coinage, idols, jewels, etc)

3. Why was it sunk?

4. When was it sunk?

Ya know Capt'n, I'm still not in the best of moods with you. It was bad enough booting me, but you scuffed my boots too! :-| Here is a full bottle of whiskey just the same.

Thank you! *wub* I'm so sorry, friend. I know we will be friends again soon. In the meantime can I shine your boots for you? :-$

I need you on my side. You're the only one I really trust anymore...

The tip didn't include a very descriptive list, but it did say it was a large variety of expensive jewelry. The wreck itself wasn't described nor any information on why or when the ship, or whatever it was, sunk. We know it's just treasure. Country of origin isn't mentioned either.

We didn't find anything on it, but then again we got your distress call, so we decided to lift off the search and do it later and come help you guys out.

Let's all get inside everybody. The seas are getting rough and it looks like that storm is going to break at any second. Scotty, close the storm thingies, the batons or whatever and secure the other stuff, this could be rough. If we get tossed about, should I stay in the steering room to correct for...you know...junk and stuff? And should we cut the minnow loose? We do have the single engine water craft to get back to it. If the Minnow's tied off on us, won't the Sea Ghost tear her up if the seas get rough?

Dan, I'd like to collect all the weapons on board and keep them locked up. May I see your knives please? Skipper, everyone get inside now, please.

Scotty, I need a private word with you:

|-/ whispers* I still don't trust those two. Someone murdered Stinky tonight and then out of nowhere his brother shows up after hearing a distress call I made on a broken radio. That letter he wrote about the new job makes me suspicious too. I think they may be here to steal the cargo...What do you think?

Surely you must know more than that! For example, how deep it is, how you are to identify it, that kind of stuff. Was it in a box?

Thank you! *wub* I'm so sorry, friend. I know we will be friends again soon. In the meantime can I shine your boots for you? :-$

No need to go that far Capt'n. :-$ I do appreciate the offer though.

I need you on my side. You're the only one I really trust anymore...

I feel the same way. I don't even know where half the crew is! *wacko* When was the last time we saw the stowaway?

Aye aye Capt'n!

If you want, but I can't see any purpose in it. Without us moving the rudder wont do any good. I think we should stay together. As for the Minnow, I would love to cut it loose, but I can't see them agreeing with that.... On that subject; have we dropped our anchor?

I find it very suspicious. They claim to know little about the job, but you need to know more than just a possible location to find treasure. Their boat is too small for a deep water salvage as well.

Well, we know several ways to take them out if we need to. Remember our naval training... ;-) ;-) ...I'm afraid someone's listening. This fog is so thick, I can't tell if we're alone or if the whole crew is with us...anyway, don't eat the food they've brought and keep an eye on them at all times. We should keep an eye on eachother too. I think they realize you are the strongest and I am the most unpredictable.

Do you trust Geno? He says he saw nothing on their ship, but now he's avoiding us. I want to get him alone and talk to him. We'll question him with the boots if we have to. I like him, but I don't trust him. He seems desperate for us to believe him. He's definitely afraid of something here.

I think someone might have it out for Bennie. That container fell on him and the "creature" was calling his name.

We need to try and get Otto to round up all of his "antiques" and keep them in one place. We don't need any loose weapons around.

As far as Columbo and Peter Parker go, they're just as much a part of this conspiracy as Skipper and Dan. Do you trust them?

One more thing. I think we should lock Jack in the engine room. He's volatile. And it also may be time to give Mr. Mason some of our "special whiskey". He's sneaky and weird and I don't think I ever hired him. I really think he slid in off the sea one day and never left. Freak balls!

Anyway, let's make our way back to the galley with the rest of the crew. I've replaced my fear *fart* song with "Cool Rider" and this fog is freaking my shite!

"If you really want to know

What I want in a guy...

Well, I'm lookin' for a dream on a mean machine

With hell in his eyes.

I want a devil in skin tight leather,

And he's gonna be wild as the wind.

And one fine night, I'll be holdin' on tight...

To a coooool rider, a coooool rider.

If he's cool enough,

He can burn me through and through.

Whhoa ohhhh

If it takes forever,

Then I'll wait forever.

No ordinary boy,

No ordinary boy is gonna do.

I want a rider that's cool."

Sing with me Gopher!

"I want a C-O-O-L R-I-D-E-R!"

Come on! *sweet*

We should keep an eye on eachother too. I think they realize you are the strongest and I am the most unpredictable.

Don't worry; I don't trust myself either. Afterall; I threatened the stowaway when I could swear that I was asleep at the time...

Do you trust Geno?

Hard to be sure. He seems honest, but he must have gone back to his cabin to watch Star Trek instead of doing his duty and reporting what he saw. It's hard to trust Star Trek fanboy...

I think someone might have it out for Bennie.

I have been trying to as I think he may be connected, but he seems too scared to speak now. :'-(

We need to try and get Otto to round up all of his "antiques" and keep them in one place.

Sorry to say that would be very hard. At one stage he said he had just a gun, now he has grenades, what's next; a bazooka? *sing*

As far as Columbo and Peter Parker go, they're just as much a part of this conspiracy as Skipper and Dan. Do you trust them?

No. Columbo acts like he has a personal stake in this and I am surprised that he managed to persuade you to disregard idea of just guessing the passcode. I don't see what we have to lose here. Perhaps he is the guy who has been opening it and fears we will ruin his plans. 8-|

I agree on both counts.

Sing with me Gopher!

"I want a C-O-O-L R-I-D-E-R!"

Come on! *sweet*

Errr....

I want a C-O-L-L R-I-D-E-R!

Was that right?

Don't worry; I don't trust myself either. Afterall; I threatened the stowaway when I could swear that I was asleep at the time...

I meant watch out for eachother. We're the only people who I know for sure aren't behind all of this...

I want a C-O-L-L R-I-D-E-R!

Was that right?

No, but cleverly appropriate! *sweet*

*lightning*

*thunder*

Cool Rider... A Cool Rider...

*lightning*

*thunder*

I've never seen a thunderstorm in such thick fog. 8-|

Gopher, will you hold my hand? :'-( Just until we make it inside?

Gee, I hope this doesn't end up like every episdoe of Scooby-Doo where we walk in from the fog and it turns out we were both holding the creatures hand and he goes "Rar!" and I feel back and realize it's a scaly arm and then move up and feel a scary face and pointy teeth and I say "G-G-G-Gopher? Is that you? If it is you need to start using some lotion!" and he goes "RAAAAAARRR!!!" and I go "Zoinks" and run! And Davy Jones from the Monkees sings a song and plays the bongos:

"I know the place where I am going

and the place where I am going's

just around the bend.

And you know, there's a lot that I can show you

and if you want to go there I can get you in.

Happy is the secret word

and if you're happy it will get you through

and I love you, you know it's true

and I can make you happy if you love me too!"

(and that one is from memory X-D )

What that song has to do with being chased by sea ghosts, I'll never know, but boy is it ever catchy!! *sweet*

Dan, I'd like to collect all the weapons on board and keep them locked up. May I see your knives please? Skipper, everyone get inside now, please.

I showed you the knives... don't you remember? 8-|

If you want to lock up my weapons, I will need a key to the lock.

*Pulls Skipper aside, to talk to him in private.*

The captain and his engineer are getting frustrated. I don't blame them, but we need to make sure they don't take out their anger on us. It's obvious that we won't be able to leave anytime soon, so take one of my knives and possibly a spear gun. We should always keep together, if possible, and never lower your guard around them... they are too unpredictable.

I personally think this whole monster thing is megablocks, and one of them killed my brother, and they are trying to cover it up.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! We are not cutting the Minnow loose. I'll secure it more before we go inside. I am not dropping my boat in open, stormy weather! What will a little motor boat do us? No good at all.

****

There, ropes tied, more secured. All of the gear was fastened down and no loose items. We're not cutting it. No way.

*To Dan*

I'll take one of the knives and a spear gun. I agree we should stay together keep a careful watch on the crew, especially the captain, he's whacky on alchohol.

Personally, I never believed in this "monster". Even though the captain showed me a picture, I believe it's false. I'm not really sure who killed your brother, but somebody did. For now, together.

****

Let's go inside now, it's starting to rain.

Don't yell at me, Skipper! >:-( Give your boat more slack or it'll be smashed against the Sea Ghost if the seas get rough.

I thought we had an understanding. Don't push your luck with me, capiche? >:-(

Dan, you may keep the knives. I have no desire to give you the keys to the weapons closet.

Giving it slack would open it more to be smashed. If you have the rope, I could send it out away from the Sea Ghost, but still tied on. I'm not trying to yell at you, just saying I don't want my boat cut off.

I'm not here to fight.

Dan, you may keep the knives. I have no desire to give you the keys to the weapons closet.

Sorry captain, but if I don't have access to the weapon closet, I don't want my gear in there.

Sorry captain, but if I don't have access to the weapon closet, I don't want my gear in there.

I certainly didn't expect you too. You may stow your gear where you like. Stinky's locker is available and you may have the key...

It isn't that big a boat. Surely we could bring it on board and secure it on deck... 8-|

It may not be big, but it's heavy, nd it's storming out there. I'm going to tie it up securly with no slack against the ship. I think this will cause the least damage to your ship captain and the least damage to mine, as nothing is bumping aroung with the hulls.
