What makes you think it's a set vs it just being an old MOC? I'm no expert on the really old vintage sets, but I've never seen anything that basic as far as overall design from that era and it doesn't strike me as an official model.

Sets usually don't have screws screwed through rims.

I have to admit that was one of my first thoughts as well. :wink:

Which is why I'm saying I'm pretty sure what you have there are 2 matching MOCs and not an official model. Still, pretty neat to see into someone's imagination from back then. :classic:
