DJ Force Posted January 7, 2008 Author Posted January 7, 2008 Last one for today. The Battle Drone: This new hightech Battle Drone is the latest massproduced weapon of Mecha-1. The Battle Drone has two powerful arm-mounted laser blasters and a heavy laser rocket launcher. Due to the heavy weaponry, the Battle Drone lacks a lot of armor, so it can still be mass produced at low costs. To make up for the disadvantage of poor armor, it was also designed to carry one Iron Drone into battle. Both units, Battle Drone and Iron Drone, can fight on their own, once the Iron Drone is deployed. DJ Force Posted January 27, 2008 Author Posted January 27, 2008 Just a little something I did today while waiting for the end of an ebay auction... Pieces: 58 Price: 7.59 Euros Factory-Link: http://shop.lego.com/Product/Factory/Produ...88-26f05c6fa29b This can easily be added to either one of the 4 outer wall segments of the Sentai Headquarters. I had this idea to add another level to the walls, because I thought the walls are a little defenseless. You can swap the cannon-sled with either of the original ones, or create your own one. The plants are a little touch of detail, as I thought there might be some plants left where the HQ stands :-) Let me know what you think! :-) Quote
zero1312 Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Sweet *sweet* , where can I find this LDD program? :-) Quote

DJ Force Posted January 28, 2008 Author Posted January 28, 2008 Sweet *sweet* , where can I find this LDD program? :-) Thanks, mate! You can download it for free on the Lego.com website! :) @Asuka: Thank you, too. These classic space vehicles were exactly my inspiration for these trucks. Seems like the inspiration can still be seen :-) I tried to create vehicles that would look like TLC could have actually made these. And I actually like these so much, that I Quote
iamded Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Awesome creations! I love the human and robot vehicle thingys! The wall addition is sweet too! *y* I'm not too keen on the battle drone though, it looks like he has a really big head! :-P The Ground Defence Units would be great if they could rotate. ~Peace Quote
DJ Force Posted February 6, 2008 Author Posted February 6, 2008 Thanks a lot for the feedback. Glad you like the vehicles. I wanted to give the the drone a touch of Little Shop of Horros feeling, while still keeping the look of the robots. They Quote

Asuka Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 That´s a very interesting vehicle.... it reminds me a little of these flat airport trucks. A cool design indeed. Quote
DJ Force Posted May 18, 2008 Author Posted May 18, 2008 A weapons rack this time. I just designed the rifle and thought, it needs some storage shelf. Pieces: 86 Price: EUR 8.92 http://shop.lego.com/Product/Factory/Produ...ef-1f48b266b90e Quote
Asuka Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 That´s a cool rack and a very fine rifle design indeed, impressive.... although, it looks perhaps a little top heavy.... Quote
DJ Force Posted May 18, 2008 Author Posted May 18, 2008 Er... You´re right. It´s meant to be carried and used with both hands. The second hand can grap the bars covering the 2 1x1 round plates. Quote
Asuka Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 It´s meant to be carried and used with both hands. I´ve designed some guns on my own, and I guess just like everybody else I really wish that our beloved MFs could actually do so.... Quote
DJ Force Posted May 19, 2008 Author Posted May 19, 2008 Hear, hear. I guess it´s not that difficult to build this gun with real bricks. I´ll give it a try tonight and see if and how good the minifig can hold the gun. In LDD it seemed to work, but then again, it´s possible to stick the black palmtree-top inside the black loudhailer-gun so deep that it actually crushes through the loudhailer Try it! Quote
