Ok so it's been awhile since i posted a custom so thought what the hell lets post one, im currently reading the new dark horse Star Wars Legacy comics. They are set around 130yrs after ANH and follow the story of Cade Skywalker, they also have a few characters from the CW era in them.

The big Sith villian of the series is Darth Krayt, so after warming to his design i thought i would have a go at creating him.

So below is pics of my creation and also a ref pic from the comics:

Usually when making a custom a lot of time is spent smoothing out edges, however i was very happy not to have to do this as hes full of sharp edges in the comics.

That costume is way more fantassy than what we ar used to ;-) Very scary looking and filled with tatooes !!

Yes im working on a few, below are some more that i have started:

Cade Skywalker * Gotta love those fleshie batman heads, they come in very handy as you can see. The hair piece is a custom i made, one im very happy with.

Shado Vao *Colour of his torso needs to be changed slightly.

Wolf Sazen *note yes i know he has only one hand, thats how he is in the series.

No not really, as i said this fig was easier to do as there was no smoothing or sanding due to his appearance.

I also wanted to say, you could use the batlords helmet from the Dragon Fortress for an easy custom!

First off - great custom, really good, it must take a lot of skill and patience to create something like that. *y*

But...I just read the history on that link you provided and it saddens me to see that SW writers have no imagination these days...they just keep going back to the same themes. Shame. This is why I stopped reading SW books. :-(

Great custom, bad character! I love how you've made something that looks disorganized, because that always takes the most amount of organization! Most people who try to do this sort of thing just slap things on, and it looks messy and like a two-year-old made it, to capture disorder is pretty hard :-D

I haven't read, and won't read the LotF series, it's just so...urgh. They had to retcon the 'sith' as being fake sith by having the ancient sith laughing at them because they contradicted the entire "prophecy" thing (which isn't so bad since I hate the idea of the prophecy!). The empire coming back, the skywalker being some hick with a sawed off double-barrel shotgun pisses me off though >:-(

Great customs overall! What color paint did you use to capture this?

I also love sarzen, that hair is amazing *wub*
