The new Tomb Raider is finally in development. For this new opus, Crystal Dynamics called back Toby Gard, the guy who is at the origin of the beautiful Lara.

Because the last opus was disappointing, Crystal Dynamics and Eidos promised a lot of new moves, high tech gear and improved graphics and a brand new designed Lara.

This game will be on PC, Xbox and PS2.

Argh, it sucks. Her melons are too small, her buttocks are too small and the character doesn't look too sexy and exotic anymore. That was the only thing that kept the game alive. Oh, and the graphics are not the best either.

I'm serious. The only reason the franchise survived was because it had a hot adventureous chick but the gameplay was too slow, boring and plain sucked. Now they totally screwed up by miniaturizing all the nice parts and unless the gameplay is totally awesome...the game is going to fail.

I've always liked the TR license (maybe not Angel of darkness that much tough): cool sceneries, lots and lots of complicated (and far fetched) enigmas. I really like the concept of being lost somewhere and look around, search every corner to find a swith that opens a secrect passage...

Yes you mentioned all the small details, yet you forgot to mention the main feature attraction in the franchise. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Note: The first ever 3D picture I saw was probably on a working version of Half-Life 2 and the only game to distribute 3D pictures over the net is Prince of Persia Warrior Within.
