zz-80 Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) The shirt says: Italian Lego User Group. :D Pure speculation, but that eBay AT-AT might be from the Lego Shop Cologne, as Oberhausen is pretty near to Cologne... Edited September 18, 2007 by zz-80 Quote
casewindu Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Great finds Aayla! this set looks supurb especially because I never bought the first one an have always regreted it! to bad the lack of figures mind *sad* oh well! *y* Quote

trooperdavinfelth Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Wow, that smile on his face looks connived. I don't know, or maybe it's just him. He does look a little kooky... But anyways, congrats to him on gettin' it! And good find, Aayla! Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Great find Ayla ;-) And BTW, Lucajuventino is a member of EB from Torino, Italy ;-) Lets hope he will provide us with pics soon :'-) That really means that the hunt is so on :-P *yoda* Quote
lucajuventino Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 And BTW, Lucajuventino is a member of EB from Torino, Italy ;-) Lets hope he will provide us with pics soon :'-) Hi to all :-) I've got the set as preview for the ItLUG LEGOfest in Torino (it was last Sat-Sun 15th-16th Sept in Turin) http://www.lucajuventino.altervista.org/legofest/ You can see me with the box in the first picture on Brickshelf http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=276448 My brother built it within few hours (it is much easier than the old ATAT) and some pictures were made (some by myself, other by Embassador Didier Enjary). There is a video too. Today, I'm going to make new pictures and I will post them here on Eurobricks. So, see you later :-) Luca Quote
Stauder Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Whoo! Can we have a review? Pleese? Quote
Eothein Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Okay that is a very, very cool set; it Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Today, I'm going to make new pictures and I will post them here on Eurobricks. Excellent Luca, many tks ;-) 3 instructions books !! That is crazy *wacko* Is this a new trend by TLC I wonder. The Tie Crawler has 2 thin instruction books, so does the Castle ship... I can understand that for big sets but for such sets its ridiculous :-| Looking at the back of the box, its kinda cool how the cockpit opens ;-) And that motor is smaller than I thought ;-) BTW Luca, how much did you pay for this ? *yoda* Quote
iamded Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Wow, awesome! Now I just have to wait for the folder to become public. :-P Quote
lucajuventino Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 As promised, new pictures of the ATAT: A complete image: The opening side where there is the switch for the motor: The cockpit with an exellent system that leave it open and block it. A very strong handle, so you can take it like a bag :-D Stupid? No, it's very useful (think how hard was move the old ATAT) Last but not least, the lower side and the foot of the ATAT After moderation, you will see on Brickshelf another video with sound, but note that the ATAT batteries were very used. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=276448 It will be sold on S@H from late October and in Italy from 2008. Its price will be about 150 Euro. Bye Luca PS: pictures are large in order to see details, but the files are small (100KB each). Quote
Sir von Lego Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Hey @all, I just found out at lego.com that german SW fans can now order the AT-AT!!! greetings Hendrik Quote
lucajuventino Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Hey @all,I just found out at lego.com that german SW fans can now order the AT-AT!!! greetings Hendrik In Italy too... it costs just 20 Euro more... Thanks for the info, Luca Quote
Vader Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Thanks lucajuventino those are some great looking pics, it's nice to see that the cockpit can now hold 2 figs. If you have the first AT-AT could you please post a comparison pic for us? Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Many tks Luca for all these great pics ;-) It actually looks way better than I thought !! That handle is a fun feature X-D BTW Luca I have yet another pic request: could you post pic(s) of the all the Technic parts list please. Tks in advance ;-) I think I really need to get rid of all those tan/blue pins >:-( We want gray and not crappy colours :-D EDIT: yeay France has it at 129.99 X-D Cheaper hehe Come On TRU, move it !! *yoda* Quote
lucajuventino Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 BTW Luca I have yet another pic request: could you post pic(s) of the all the Technic parts list please. Tks in advance ;-) I have the old version of ATAT but I cannot make any comparision picture, sorry. There are 3 instruction books but the building is faster than the old version (that had just one book!). The 3 books are thin. So, the complete part list of the 10178: Bye Luca Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Many Tks Luca, I really appreciate this ;-) Now I can see what I need to mod beforehand hehe !! *yoda* Quote
hollisbrick Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Very cool looking set. I've always wanted an AT-AT but i'm broke. Some nice figs in there too. :-( Quote
badgerboy Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 I really want this set - it's already available on S@H in the UK Quote
Siegfried Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 It's got more parts than I expected. I might end up wanting it after all..... ....nope. Not likely. It costs $250 AUD, the same as the bulldozer. 8- Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Would it still work if you did that? 8-| I will just put the exact same part but in bley or black so YES it wouldn't change anything on the waking mechanism ;-) BUT it would look way better ;-) Come on, an AT-AT with blue joints ? :-X Looking at the pics again, I wonder how tro mod the top of the beast !! If you look at the blueprints of the beast, it lacks something as you can see here and here ;-) Also I thought the front guns were to long, but it seems hey are closer to the original as the older AT-AT ;-) Mod On !! *yoda* Quote
