Hinckley Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 My mother used to tell me if I kept making faces, my face would freeze that way...but I'm devilishly handsome. Wait, that's not my point. My point is, megabluck, why am I in character? Look dicks, if you keep joking about bad grammar, you're going to accidentally adopt that. And if you make a face at me, it will freeze that way. Dafty dobbers!
Dannylonglegs Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 Sounds like Xenophobic Monoxide has chosen to remain in the game! Thanks for making my job a little easier! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Dannylonglegs Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 Australian? You think only Australians say mate, ya wanker? Ye must be American. Guilty as charged, mate! I'll make sure to correct my egregiously provincial accent stereotypes for the day's conclusion. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
Sir Stig Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Dannylonglegs: It would be helpful to know how many votes are required for a lynch.
Hinckley Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Are you saying you can't figure what the majority of 19 is?
Lady K Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Sorry I wasn't active yesterday, it was my oldest son's 18th birthday. I'll try to get caught up with the seven missed pages.......
Dannylonglegs Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 Are you saying you can't figure what the majority of 19 is? 10 votes are required for a lynch. I updated original post, and will continue to inform players of lynch requirement as I update Vote counts. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
Dragonfire Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 if you keep joking about bad grammar, you're going to accidentally adopt that. I wonder whether the same applies to Minga-speak...
Sir Stig Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Heheh, didn't think about majority, just got used to seeing a number while watching Ragnarok 3.
Sir Stig Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I have a forum function question. Is there an easy way to view (from http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Commonly_Used_Abbreviations)?: Iso (or ISO): Isolation. Usually refers to reading a player's posts in isolation. You can view one person's posts "in Isolation" by using the "Display posts from previous" drop down boxes at the bottom of every page. This is how you do it on mafiascum.net. The only way I have found so far on EB is to enter a persons profile and look at posts, but it is untidy, in reverse and posts in other threads also appear.

I'm afraid not beyond going to their profile :frown: ^oops, I accedentally posted inside your quote. I meant I don't believe there is a way.
Hinckley Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 We used to have a longer search string available but it eats up too much memory so we reduced it to five posts. Perhaps when we upgrade the software, this will be addressed. I miss being able to search all the way back to my first post. I'm sure there's a way to manipulate the query string but I haven't looked into it yet.

I miss that too... although considering how long ago my first post was, odds are it'd be super embarrassing to see these days. Probably it was full of emoticons. Early on in my tenure here I was posting like strings of emoticons every other post. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Hinckley Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 We've had staff who are 12...or maybe younger. If you're not immature, we don't mind. But if you are, it doesn't even matter if you're older than 18...ban city.
