Great find svelte_corps! Edit: a big thanks to Tinn-man as well for finding it on bricklink! A cheap way to get some gold helmeted trolls, brilliant!! And what, those fabulous ragged capes as well, the variety with this set is spectacular.

The helmets are actually bronze or copper.

Funny how they didn't include the new head that the Troll King has to add even more variety... But I guess they wanted to keep him as unique and exclusive as possible.

A good BP, anyway! I won't be buying it, but I can imagine how army builders are rejoicing now.

Uh, no they're not. There's only two types of troll helmets plus the skeleton helmet that the trolls in Dwarven Mine have, and all three types are present in this BP.

this pack is too awesome. i'll definitely buy at least one. hopefully they'll put out a dwarf or elf battlepack now as previously mentioned. i would personally really love a peasant "battle" pack, but that's probably too much wishful thinking

It's not great news for me since i already have 50+ orcs and not planning to buy more.

I haven't bought any of the castle battle packs yet (and probably won't) because I'm not really into army building (on a large scale). I have just a few crownies made from spare parts other than the ones I got out of single copies of sets (except for a dupe copy of knights' catapult). Same with my trolls and skeletons.

I'll probably get a few of these. It's nice that there is some variety in the weapons and that it includes a decent number of shields along with a couple of the new tattered capes. If they are the same price as the others ($15) I think it's a decent deal (obviously the 4 for $10 of the Star Wars battlepacks is better, but this is still good). I've bought numerous single packs, but I only need so many wagon wheels so this is a nice change of pace. My army of trolls is probably in the triple digits now (it was close the last time I counted them all and there have been some additions since then) so this will help add a little more diversity.

The troll battle pack looks great. I wasn't particularly interested in the skelton or crownie battle pack, but I'm definitely going to pick up one or two of these. I'm not much of a castle builder, but I'd like to have enough trolls to make a MOC at some point.

I think a Dwarf battle pack is very likely now.

I do feel sorry for those who are hoping for an elf battle pack though...

Looks like Lego has stepped it up a notch from the last battle packs! I'll pick up at least one for the empty Troll's Mountain Fortress. Thanks for the news!

I am really hoping for dwarves, though, I need it even more!

And I believe that the Elves are scheduled for next year, though.
