Pate-keetongu Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Btw., i found something cool on the lego club site:http://club.lego.com/de-de/BuildIt/Buildin...tured/ogre.aspx Best SYSTEM combo model ever IMO. Hopefully I find troll battle wagon in sale somewhere, I would like to built that. Quote
Fishy Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Best SYSTEM combo model ever IMO. Hopefully I find troll battle wagon in sale somewhere, I would like to built that. Seeing as I have the other two sets, I think I might pick up the Dwarf one this evening. I'll post here about how the model is, if I do decide to make it after. :D Quote
Eilif Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Wow! I haven't built a castle in years, but the dwarf battle pack is a must-buy! The mix of beards and helmets is great, and this pack seems to have much more "charachter" than the other 3. I will definitely be picking up at least 2 of these! Quote
Pate-keetongu Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Would that be hint of elves? I found it at castle downloads page:link Quote
metalandi Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 At a first thought you'd actually not think much about it, but let's look closer at it..all other words are stuff we have seen already in this castle line, except elves. So it really could be a hint. Quote
mikey Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Would that be hint of elves? I found it at castle downloads page:link I think this might be jumping to conclusions, not quite as bad as 'the scotsman' farce recently, but getting pretty close... Quote
metalandi Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Here's the link for the battle chariot instructions: http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildin...ons/4561058.pdf Unfortunately i couldn't find the drawbridge, can someone that has this set please tell me the instructions number of it? Thanks. Quote
Tom Bricks Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 The dwarf battle pack looks awesome, I'm buying it for the legs and beards. Now It's time for TLC to make battle packs in the pirate theme. Isn´t a "civilian battlepack" kind of a paradox ? ;) Kink of but I would but one. Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Isn´t a "civilian battlepack" kind of a paradox ? ;) Perhaps I should have better used the word minifigure collection - that's right, Scop. Of course I didn't mean a pack of medieval civilians which fight but a pack of "peaceful" medieval civilians (e. g. a damsel of the castle, a lord of the castle, their son, their daughter and one servant and some accessory). Klaus-Dieter I just want a "battle pack" with the civilians from MMV. And maybe the jester. That I would certainly buy. Quote
Tom Bricks Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Would that be hint of elves? I found it at castle downloads page:link Now there just teasing us. This could be a sign of a new theme. Now they have signs encoded in secret messages, this is getting exciting. If they don't end up making an elf fraction there will be allot of people here that are angry. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Lego can hide messages as well as the beatles. I wan't elves for the pieces that we might get Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 The Combo set is awesome! I love how they use Crownies xD Quote
the Inventor Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I love those battlepacks, and this one I will certainly buy multiples of. More Dwarfs Nice combo of sets, I have to try that one. the Inventor Quote

Klaus-Dieter Wasn´t meant too serious, but when I first read "Civilian´s battlepack" I found it kind of funny. But whatever they would call such a Collection, it would be a must-buy for me Quote
Shakar Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I'm not really sure if all of them are really new, though. I'm soo gonna get at least one of these if they ever come out in the rest of Europe. 13 Euro for 25 heads, 15 of them being unique to that set, is an amazing deal. And I really want one of the dice pieces. Not too interested in the dwarf battlepack, since I built 11 custom dwarfs myself. But those beards are so useful...not to mention the shields...oh and the short legs! Looks like I'll have to buy one. On the Orc battlepack...lovely! I must get a pair of those. Capes and shields FTW! Shakar Quote
UsernameMDM Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Is the dwarf in the middle on the right wielding a brown carrot club? Would have been nice to see some a brick built war hammer in the dwarf battle pack. Now, com'on elf/forestmen battle pack! Quote
metalandi Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 *Asking again for the drawbridge instructions number...* Quote
TheBrickDaddy Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 *Asking again for the drawbridge instructions number...* That would be 7079... you could just go to Shop at Home or Brickset to see that number next time. (I have to fully write out Shop at Home because the ampersand sign on my keyboard doesn't work! ) I am very excited for these battle packs, it really does complete the Castle theme. While for weapons we get three double-sided axes, a pickaxe, and... a club... (Marion Ravenwood needs to find something new to defend herself now!) we still get more of the non-winged helmets and some dwarf shields. Hooray for the barrel! At least it's not an animal this time... And I'm sure we'll be seeing some of these elves in the future. What happened is probably that they were going to release the elves this year, but weren't fully ready in some way, and came up with these three sets to tide us over. Quote
metalandi Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I know that of course, i mean the INSTRUCTIONS number, which is written on the back of every instruction and is 6 digits long. Quote
Sandy Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 What happened is probably that they were going to release the elves this year, but weren't fully ready in some way, and came up with these three sets to tide us over. Haha, I sincerely doubt they just whipped up these three sets out of nowhere just because they didn't have the elf-molds ready! There's plenty of new pieces and prints in these three sets as well. But I'm still positive on the prospect on elves next year - the crossword puzzle further confirms my feelings, because why would they put a word like that in a LEGO-themed exercise otherwise? Quote

metalandi Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 It is very small, i gotta say. Look fgor a very small "©2009 The LEGO Group," printed somewhere on the back, it should be right beside that. Quote
