Zuloon Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 really? i reeally liked the tee-pees from the indian line)and the hole line altogether) so i wouldnt really mind. Oh wait... I wasn't thinking I forgot Teepees could be easily transported That would be AWESOME for the Orcs! Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 May I add that some of the pics of new 08 sets I have posted have been posted before!! Quote
TheFrisian Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Oh wow, got to love the soldier!!! I'm getting lots of those! *wub* As for the teepees, I think they look to neat for Orcs & Trolls. In general, I do like the idea of having the Orks use tents for shelter, it gives a very nomadic feel to the Orc faction. But they would have to be much more crude in design than teepees. Quote
hollisbrick Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 *wub* the new torso for the knight and the wizard, im glad that they're not as many stars for the wizard and also the armor is still not printed!!(yay *y* ) Quote
Oliverphoenix Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Set 5615 is awesome and I thought castle Tic tac toe was a awesome troop builder, shame the silver armour doesn't have the cool plate mail decal but the set is still very good and the new torso decal for the minifig looks really nice...like a palace guard or Kings bodyguard etc. Hopefully it be Quote

Batbrick Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Thanks for the pics Lord Of Pies, I have not seen these before! :'-) That new soldier torso is a thing of beauty! *wub* And I love that Wizard too! *wub* Clearly as the Batmobile has morphed into the Brickmobile! >:-) Quote
Wout Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Thanks for the pics, they look nice. The tables with lookingglasses from the wizard are nice to add to your Professor Trelawney class from Harry Potter. Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 I like the knight impulse sets too! Loadsa accessories, a knight and at low, low prices!! Funnily enough, I have just noticed I am now ranked as knight, yay. Quote
Medievalego Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 shame the silver armour doesn't have the cool plate mail decal I wish they'd have the pointed moving visors ... Also, if Tic Tac Toe had come with shields, it would have been amazing. As to orc bases: what about a cave like scenario? Similar to dwarves mining, only darker, more primitive? Or just in general, how about some crazy new armor or something ... yeeeeeeah :'-) Quote
Big T Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Wow that knight is awesome. Defiently going to pick a few up. Good little army builder, and gives you plenty of pieces for variety! Quote

Good little army builder, and gives you plenty of pieces for variety! ________ I agree, I'm definitely going to get a heap of those. And to make my armies extra large, I will use the extra knight armour on my old policeman and surplus figures (that have the right colour of course ;-) ) to get two figures per purchase! :'-) Clearly Batbrick's mind has turned to mush! >:-) Quote

I heartily agree! I will certainly(changed my mind) get multiples of the knight; maybe one(if not more) wizard(s). :-P Quote

ExoBuilder Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Wasn't sure if this was widely known, but I saw the impulse sets in the LEGO store in Bridgewater, N.J., for $3.49 each. A very nice set, but not as cheap as I was hoping ... You didn't get any?! Why does your Lego store get all the goods? *sad* *sweet* Quote

RememberTheLittleGuy Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Castle theme beats Star Wars in my opinion. Can't wait 'till the 2008 Castle set comes out. Too bad it has to come aorund April |-/ . Quote

Such a waste to put the armour on an actual castle fig when you can pretend :-D The best thing is you also get the extra helmet, so he won't go without headgear either! So in America they're $3.50 each? I'm guessing in Australia we'll be paying around $6-8 then, which isn't too bad really for what you get. Quote

MagPiesRUs Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I've seen #7048 and it is awesome! Do you mean you've seen it at a store? Or just that you've seen a picture of it? If so, we've already seen it, the pics of the rest of the sets are somewhere in this thread. Quote
