MagPiesRUs Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I too am a tad disappointed that we get yet another horse. I don't need anymore! See for yourself! Actually, looks to me as if you need one more for each of your carriages :-P Nice collection By the way *y* Aside from putting the price up a little, I don't see what's wrong with the skellorses. 10 or so mounted skellies look great *wub* Quote
Vader Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 like what being free?(sorry im quite slow on the up take at times) but if your referring to the calendar i think its awesome! i love te new jesters hat and the wench? and the knights armer and the fact you get a castle too! (lol) I was talking about the set :-) Quote

Lord Of Pies Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I like the new skellie impulse myself, I need a cavalry unit to assist my small infantry! (2 skellies to be precise!) X-D Quote

X-D Oh don't get me wrong the chariot is awesome, but I just hope another skellie builder is released as a ground troop, even a black skellie would be fine. Batbrick Something! *wacko* Quote
MagPiesRUs Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 (edited) Here are the prices of the Castle sets in New Zealand, according to Toyplanet: Dwarves Mine Defender - $19.99 Attack on the Tower - $58.99 Troll Warrior Impulse - $6.99 Troll Warship - 126.99 They all seem more expensive than I expected. I would've thought the mine defender would be the same price as the crossbow, but is instead the same price as the catapult, which is a much better design, and includes 4 figs :-( Edited January 23, 2008 by TinyPiesRUs Quote

iamded Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Dwarves Mine Defender - $19.99Attack on the Tower - $58.99 Troll Warrior Impulse - $6.99 Troll Warship - 126.99 Thanks TinyPiesAreUs!! :-D Let's see... Dwarve's Mine Defender is at least 5NZD more than I had hoped, looks like I won't be getting as many multiples of this as I had hoped. Attack on the Tower will probably be 59.99 in stores, just to round it to 60 NZD. Not bad, the tower is nice, the troll siege ram is awesome... *wub* ... and it has a decent amount of minifigs. I'm happy about that one. Troll Warrior Impulse, no surprise there, all the other Impulse sets are 7 NZD. I'll be getting multiples of them! :-D 127? That's an odd number. It'll probably be 130 NZD in stores, or at Toyworld anyway. The ship isn't even that detailed, I think $100 would have been better, but I guess it'll do. X-D Thanks again for the find! And in NZD! *wub* :-D ~Peace Quote

I agree, this set is in my opinion the best set of this year's castle line. Plenty of figs, another section of castle and that siege tower is just great *wub* 127? That's an odd number. X-D Yes, the Viking Longship was only $100NZ, and that seems much better than the Attackship :-/ I hope they will lower the price, because it doesn't really seem worth it at the moment. Pate-keetongu Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 new sets prices from finnish catalogue: dwarves mine defender: 12.95 e troll warship: 78.95 e tower raid: 32.95 e Quote
Shakar Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 13 Euro for Dwarves Mine Defender? That is crazy. I hope Lego will rectify (sp) these prices. Shakar Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 It is a bit on the expensive side, especially for ANOTHER catapult! *wacko* On the other hand, I do really want dwarves and trolls, so I will probably end up buying it anyway! :-D I just noticed this is my 1000th post on EB. Quote
iamded Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 Congratulations, Count of Pies! :-P @ Shakar, that's strange, 13 Euros is nearly 25NZD, but the set costs 20NZD. 8-| ~Peace Quote
mikeypickles Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 the jester in the advent calender looks awesome i always dreamed of a lego jester after seeinglego 3D Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) Since there are rumours that the Castle advent calendar will be sold out very quickly after it'll be released, I've got one question since I of course want to get this great set, too: Will this calendar only be available on S@H or even in "normal" toy stores? iamded Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 I love that dragon! *wub* 2 cool things I noticed; The troll's armour matches up with the chains on his torso printing! :-D And the Dwarf Mine Defender actually has controls! :-D ~Peace Quote
