hollisbrick Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 What country, and what store. ;-) New Zealand supposedly gets the Castle sets April-May, but look, they're up on S@H already. And my local Toyworld has stated they expect to get a bunch of new sets in March, but that probably won't be Castle. So we'll just have to wait and see. they are probably the Indy sets and some city, i'm guessing that Aus./NZ won't get them til April when you think about it, it isn't too far away.. Quote
Vader Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Just found out today that most shops here in the UK, will have the new castle line in March *y* Quote
The Kid Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Just found out today that most shops here in the UK, will have the new castle line in March *y* Including Woolworths, Argos, etc.? TK Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Yes, the only shop nearby to me that sells Lego is Woolworths and Masters. Actually Their is an Argos close by. Quote

Yeah, that's my guess. The Star Wars sets arrived a few days ago, and some police sets, and I think the rest of the city and the Indy sets get in next month. Then in April/May we get Castle. There isn't much shelf space there for Lego, so they stock them up in sections like that. ~Peace Quote
Brainbox Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Just found out today that most shops here in the UK, will have the new castle line in March *y* So it's not an Argos exclusive then? Well, that's good. There's more scope for offers for one thing. Availability doesn't really make much difference, as there're Argos's everywhere. And at least March isn't too far off. Although my area probably won't get it till mid-Summer |-/ Quote
The Kid Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 It's a shame the smaller 3 sets of the '07 line never showed up in stores. I would have liked a couple more Crossbow Attacks and a Catapult Defense. TK Quote
Brainbox Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 It's a shame the smaller 3 sets of the '07 line never showed up in stores. I agree. If the distribution is more wide-scale this year though, we should see plenty of everything. Quote

Medievalego Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 (edited) I guess this got put out on the shelves early? http://cgi.ebay.com/LEGO-Castle-7041-TROLL...1QQcmdZViewItem Not bidding because I think that price will end up being a little steep, but exciting to see that it might be out soon ... I hope :) It's not on SAH yet, sooooo, I don't know. EDIT: There are a number up for sale on eBay, actually. Edited February 18, 2008 by Medievalego Quote
Inertia Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 No, A number of Battle Wheels were released in the USA, Hinckley has a review of one. Quote
metalandi Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 I got it about 2 weeks ago on ebay for about 50 dollars. It's a great set! Quote
SWMAN Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Unfortunatly, the sets are still not available on US S@H, which is where I buy all my sets. It seems like Lego is really cycling a lot of sets pretty fast through their online store, especially if you look at Star Wars. Quote

metalandi Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I got Tower Raid and Dwarfs Minde Defender today! After about 2 hours of building (the siege tower has got more elements as you would think!) i'm stunned about this set, this in my opinion is the best siege tower lego eve rmade, and the ram works extremely well! also the wall piece you can ram to free the prisoned troll is pretty nice. VBBN Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 (edited) Boy, Gald I got my dwarve's m9ine at $50.00 a long time ago. It is going to be re-released at $60.00 with no special edition box.
