metalandi Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 i think it will be both as the dwarfs mine defender set isn't that big. but i definitely will concentrate more on tower raid, since this set has so much nice details. Quote

Naith Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 i just got the tower raid set in the post today and i love the siege tower and the new orc/troll armour but im really disappointed with the castle tower :-( it just seems so empty the cage that holds the orc isnt even a full cage it only has 3 walls :-/ Quote
metalandi Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 (edited) I will write something about that in my review later today cause that's one thing that bothers me too a little bit, so stay tuned. I just got finished with building up my just arrived brand new black knights castle! Edited February 20, 2008 by metalandi Quote
VBBN Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Looking forward to it. Does one of the orcs have a gold helmet, yet iron or silver armour? Quote
metalandi Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 the "boss" of the orcs in the tower raid set has got a golden helmet and the new iron armor. it looks great! gonna shoot the photos now, the review should be up in at least 2 hours. Quote
AmperZand Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 The battle packs are on shop at home now, but not for order >:-( nor do they even have a price :( Good news! The Knights and Skeleton Battle Packs are now available at S@H priced at Quote
Vader Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 For all those asking the Castle line will be available in all lego selling shops from March onwards in the UK, however Toys R Us had the Battle Wheel in today. So if you want one you had better hurry as those babys will go quickly. Quote

Has there been anything official saying when these sets will come out in the US? Any of them? I know the cards seem to say August, but that doesn't sound right. I have already bought a Battle wheel in Toys R Us and it doesn't make sense to release that 6 months before the rest of the line. Especially after releaseing the Dwarf mine set even earlier than that. So far, I am assuming the cards are a mistake (it has happened to other lines at Toy Fair). Hopefully the battle packs will be online in the US sometime in the next month or two. On a side note, on another site someone mentioned the Wizard set (the standalone set with just the wizard, like The Knight) was exclusive to Europe. I was wondering if there was any truth to that or if he was likely just meaning that thus far it had only been released in Europe? If it is true, is it likely the Orc, Skeleton, and other Soldier will be European exclusive as well? Edit: Looks like I don't need to worry about waiting for the Battle Packs. They are on S@H for the US now. Edited February 20, 2008 by Tyrant Quote

Well, I'm hoping to call in on Friday, so maybe I'll have a look. Unfortunately, if I decide to buy it (and that may well happen), I'll end up spending more money than I was planning to. Quote

Isn't that how it always goes? :-D I'd be lucky to see the battle wheel, I'll have to order it sadly, no Toys'R'Us here... Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

Hi everyone. First post here. Which Toys R Us were you in? I was at the Enfield one today and they had no Castle at all. Thanks Quote
jondesouza Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I was in the Bristol one, as i arrived they were just putting new sets out. They only had 3 battle wheels and nothing castle else. Excellent, thanks. I'll have to try again next week. Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Yay, the U.K-U.S pricing is vaguely fair! I will be buying some of these babies! *wub* Quote
Cardinal Brick Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Yay, the U.K-U.S pricing is vaguely fair!I will be buying some of these babies! *wub* I noticed that it was most pleasing, though the battle packs are a bit cheaper than I expected coming in at 6.49, I expected 6.99 as Tiny Tim might have said, we must than the Lego Company. AmperZand Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 On a side note, on another site someone mentioned the Wizard set (the standalone set with just the wizard, like The Knight) was exclusive to Europe. I was wondering if there was any truth to that or if he was likely just meaning that thus far it had only been released in Europe? I don't know for sure but my guess is the wizard will be available in the US eventually. I don't see why TLC would put out the knight in the US but not the wizard. In the event that they don't release the wizard State-side, there's always BrickLink and Ebay. I frequently order parts and small sets from the US to Europe through BL. Shipping charges aren't that bad. So the reverse, i.e. Europe to US, should be pretty straight-forward. If it is true, is it likely the Orc, Skeleton, and other Soldier will be European exclusive as well? Again, I suspect that they'll all be available in all territories in due course. Quote
Piranha Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 The chess set is too good to be true :'-) Yet it is true! *wub* The amount of detail is amazing! Though it will be pretty expensive........ The battle packs look nice with cool figs but $12 USD for 5 figs with nothing extra is a bit pricy. 5 knight Impulses: $15 Well I guess the BP isn't too badly priced....... Right now I am thinking about which sets to get Tower Raid? Dwarf defender and Troll Battle Wagon? Battle Wheel? *wacko* Deciding what to buy is hard work........ :-D P Quote

Battle Wheel? *wacko* Deciding what to buy is hard work........ :-D Let me help you with that, fig wise... Tower Raid; 3 Orks, including the armoured, golden helmed one. A Crownie archer and soldier. Dwarf Defender + Battle Wagon; Dwarf, 3 Ork troops, 2 Crownie soldiers and a sand green Ogre. Battle Wheel; 3 Orks (one with skellie armour... <shudder>), and a Crownie archer, soldier, and fishing-for Orks man. Man I want those sets! X-D ~Peace Quote

They all include great figs, but none of them include everything I want If only tower raid came with a Giant troll and dwarf, then it would be perfect X-D Yet I still can't decide *wacko* What do you guys think? DarkYamiDragon Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Anyone know when 7048 is coming out in the US? I can't wait for it to come out. And, does anyone know how many minifigs it has? Thanks! :-) Quote
