You are in Australia, yet you are still so updated?

Actually, the usual outlets such as BW and ST are all out as well. You are correct on the promo price. :sweet:

I'll have to pick that up when I'm there next, great Army builder, Australia hasn't even got the Troll impulse yet :sadnew: At least, where I live.

I hope that the advent calendar will include a chimney and a black cat for the witch, a market stand and some vegetables for the medieval woman, a little prison for the dwarf and a bear barrel for the knight.

I can't wait for more pics of the advent calendar. :cry_happy:

In this thread http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=20245 there is a picture of the upcoming Castle Advent Calender. It shows four different dwarfs standing in front of the box. However, the box art has not changed. I am wondering if (as I am hoping) they have included four dwarfs or if they are just there as a selling point.

If anyone has any thoughts or ideas about it please respond.

As always, if this thread has already been created feel free to close and remove, etc.

I'm sorry if this question was answered somewhere in the last 100 pages, but is the Advent calendar still coming out? Do we know when?

I almost missed, that we also got another pic of the witch now, i enlightened it a bit, since the original is a bit too dark:

She looks very good. Now only make a gingerbread house with Hansel and Gretel

With the Giant Castle Chess set and the first Advent Calender set coming soon, do you think these are the last 2 sets which concludes the 2008 Castle theme?

I would think so. Anyway, this is the time of year that the pictures of next year's sets show up!

Can't wait for Whung or someone like that to pull them up!

Yay, we finally get a hot witch!

Believe me, the two are far from mutually exclusive. Once you start dating,

!

But yes, it's nice to get a witch (maybe with the term sorceress is more accurate for this fig since she looks younger?) that isn't a aged hag. No offensive, Fright Knight Witch!

It seems we'll get at least 4 dwarves in the calendar, take a look at this picture:

<snip>

I think they're actually just there for, you know, promotional purposes. To make the picture look cooler. I thought we established that the figures shown on the box were the figures we'd be getting.

Yes I think you are right. 4 Dwarves would kind of cheapen the Dwarven Mine, in fact they look like the 4 from that.

Was a date set for release yet?, I vaguely remember Amazon saying September? EDIT, never mind I saw the October pic 3 pages back.

It´s the 16th September and the dwarves are from Dwarves Mine. Besides, it´s impossible for LEGO making a calender with 4 dwarves, one witch, one jester, one maiden, one knight, one soldier, one skellie, one black skellie and one orc, when the set is containig 9 figures, as shown on the box...

There´s a lot of speculation going on about what the LEGO advent calender will contain.

I´m sorry if someone posted / noticed it before.

When you open a larger picture of the Lego Castle advent calender, I believe you can see on the top of the box what pieces this set contains.

Yes you are right about this, but unfortunately the quality isn't good enough to exactly see what it is, i already tried with photoshop to make it better but not with much success. It certainly looks like a lot of equipment, which i would love.

Well, it's not impossible. Just false advertising.

Since that's a crime in most countries and states, we could see 4 Dwarves in the Advent calander, as for cheapening the Mine, that's the only set you get the Tan Troll in, so It's still got something unique
