Rolli Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 V-Galactic Racing: Scarlet Hare 20X by rolli A couple of weeks ago I posted my Crimson Hornet 3000, part of the fictitious space racing game V-Galactic Racing: "V-Galactic Racing is the most advanced and awesome racing game to day. Jump in your ship and race on tracks all around the galaxy and become the No. 1!" Now I 'unlocked' the second racer: Crazy angles and a ton of flaps make the Scarlet Hare 20X incredibly agile and a good choice for the difficult asteroid tracks! As I mentioned when posting the first racer: I will add more racers in the coming months, whenever I feel like I need to build one or need another break - after all I need to unlock them all This time I just felt like building something inorganic and angled. Looking forward to what you think - let me know! Best Markus Quote
Space Police XVIII Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Really nice design! Nice use of those curly plant whatsits. I can't quite make out what's behind them, is that a length of hose? Quote
___ Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I like those red hands sticking out from the rocket...hahahaha Quote
MontyPython Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Great design, a really wonderful ship! Quote
SpacerSteve Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) I really like it! Lots of interesting Greebling. It looks more stripped down then the last one you built. Edited September 4, 2015 by SpacerSteve Quote
FonsoSac Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Nice ship. I like the grebles and the shape Quote
Rolli Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 Thanks! I can't quite make out what's behind them, is that a length of hose? Thats a Tauntaun bridle. Quote

The Steward Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 What an amazing ship!! I love the way you incorporated the fern pieces and the red hands! Though how did you make the center of the engine? Quote
Rolli Posted September 17, 2015 Author Posted September 17, 2015 Thank you! Though how did you make the center of the engine? I used six mechanical arms that are put into the holes of the technic wheel(s). Then there is a cone on top of that to round it off. The blue engine glow effect was done in Photoshop to make it more immersive. If you are however referring to the red circular piece between the two technic wheels, this will help you. The rest is a funny array of droid arms wedged into the side of the wheels, steering handles and some other clutter. Hope I was able to help you! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Wow what a cool ship! Really powerful whit those big engines and lovely trans-red windshield! Quote
bobabricks Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 What an amazing ship!! I love the way you incorporated the fern pieces and the red hands! Though how did you make the center of the engine? Looks like 8 of these arm pieces with the bottom part painted blue. http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=62691&idColor=95#T=S&C=95&O={"color":95,"ii":1} Quote
Rolli Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 Looks like 8 of these arm pieces with the bottom part painted blue. Only 6 arms and no paint. I explained it above. Quote
___ Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 BTW I do not know if already anyone noticed it or if it was discussed before but from the "TLG point-of-view": what a bunch of "illegal" connections there! Quote
Only Sinner Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I think the chassis angle is what really stands out for me, as well as the incredible detail, especially on those engines! Great MOC! Quote
