Jared Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Ooo, Saxon with an alt 'skeleton" face would be superb! Yes, yes, YES! Why no love for The End of Time? I wouldn't mind having a set with Tennant and Saxon Master. Thinking about POTC and how they went with sets that included some interesting range of minifigures, it's possible they may do "End of Time" since they include the main figs.... but, on the other hand, "Journey's End" has more available characters and interesting location sets like the tardis or dalek ship (MAYBE WE'LL GET A LEGO DAVROS?!?! :o ) Quote

While I do really want Saxon with the alt skeleton face and that giant Lego turkey assembly, I don't know if it would be considered for a set. If Lego were to make sets, I'm really hoping that it'll get two sets - one being something along the vein of a $12 set (like 79005 Wizard Battle) for the "Wasteland Battle," featuring a small, rocky build and Tennant and Saxon, and the other being a larger set including two civilians with alt Saxon faces (with different expressions), Tennant with "battle scars," Saxon with an alt expression and the alt skeleton face, and two Time Lords. I'm guessing the "healing" portal gate would be the main build. Also, Lego Davros PLEASE! It wouldn't be that hard to do, just new prints. Edited September 13, 2015 by legozebra Quote
Frozen Assasin Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 I, for once, want sets that involve the regeneration of each Doctor (furthermore - several sets based on iconic scenes / episodes) 1 -> 2 (could be a smaller set, involving the 1st and 2nd Doctors, the Cybermen, some small base and Polly with Jackson.) The next set could be 2-> 3 and feature 2 or 3 Time-Lords and the 2nd/3rd Doctors. The third set would be set at U.N.I.T ( a middle-sized set) and have the 3rd,4th Doctors together with K'anpo Rimpoche, Sarah Jane and the Brigadier.Maybe even a model Tardis. The next one should be quite big, as it would have at least 7 figures - the 4th and 5th Doctors, the Master, the Watcher, Tegan, Nyssa, Adric and even maybe a Logopolian, as well as a diorama from Logopolis itself. The next one would have the crystal, the 5th and the 6th Doctors, a Tardis model and Peri, so that would be the smallest (or the second smallest set.) Then we have the 6th and the 7th Doctor, Rani, a Tetrap and Melanie Bush, with the setting being Rani's Lab. After that have the TV movie, with two or three gangsters, a model Tardis and a Chicago street. 7th and 8th Doctors. Next would be a set with 2 minifigures (maximum 3) and an extremely simple environment with the planet of the sisterhood of Khan and the 8th together with the War Incarnation. I would like this one to come in a set with the regen. from War to Nine, 'cause those two would make for extremely boring sets if alone. Then, one with 9th,10th,Rose and the Tardis. After that, it would be cool to have a rather big set - involving a winter street, a lamp, Rose, the Tardis, 10 and 11. And the last one (finally) would involve the 11, Amy, Clara, the Tardis and the 12th First Doctor - A set with the Daleks on Skaro, since this is the most familiar one to the audience. And of course, Totter Lane and the junkyard Second Doctor - Tomb of the Cybermen, the Ice Warriors, the Yeti's in the underground. Third Doctor - Something with the Silurians and the Sea-Devils, the Axonians, one based on the Daemons and of course a set with the Draconians. Futhermore - the Time Warrior. Also, a set base on Terror of the Autons. And of course the 3 Doctors. Fourth Doctor - Hell, almost every episode could be an set. But to pick out some - The Talons of Weng-Chiang, the Androids of Tara, Terror of the Zygons, the Seeds of Doom... Fifth Doctor - the Five Doctors, Earthshock, Snakedance, Mawdryn Undead and that's it. Sixth Doctor - Trial of a Time Lord (pick any episode), the Two Doctors. Seventh Doctor - the Curse of Fenric, Happiness Patrol, the Greatest show in the Galaxy, Survival. Eight Doctor - TV movie Ninth Doctor - Rose, Boom Town, Aliens in London, Dalek. Tenth - Blink, Silence in the Library, End of Time, Last of the Time Lords, Gridlock, New Earth,... Eleventh - Day of the Doctor, Name of the Doctor, A Town Called Mercy, A Good Man Goes to War, the Wedding of River Song, the Big Bang, Amy's Choice, Time of Angels, Cold Blood. Twelfth - ...Not enough stories (as of yet). Despite that, "Mummy on the Orient Express" would make a good set. Quote

BrickOn Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I am currently playing with my new pirate lego chess set and it occured to me that Doctor Who Lego Chess could be awesome... I'm going to make my own version, even it doesn't stand a chance of ever being released. Quote

I'm going to make my own version, even it doesn't stand a chance of ever being released. That would be cool - heroes vs villains I'd imagine. Pawns could be UNIT agents and Daleks, Kings could be the Doctor and Cyberman on throne, Queens could be River and - Missy maybe? Other pieces could be companions and other aliens, respectively. I have not decided for my own version... I somehow saw Daleks vs Cybermen as pawns on either side... (I know that doesn't really work) the TARDIS could be the queen and the weeping angles are the rooks for the badies... Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I would think Daleks would work as rooks, and maybe have Weeping Angels as either bishops or knights. Perhaps Sontarans could be knights. Quote

GallardoLU Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 I'm surprised to see no one has mentioned the wreck of the Byzantium yet, that could be a really cool scene and a great source for Weeping Angels. along with that there are River and the Clerics. and I'd love to build the Aplan Crypts (or even the Byzantium's oxygen generators (electric forest) Quote

The Wester Drumlins house with a Weeping Angel, Sally Sparrow and Larry Nightingale would therefore be more appealing IMO. Edited September 24, 2015 by LEGODalekbuster523 Quote

I think LEGO may want something more iconic, in which case if there is the possibility of a series of lines of LEGO Doctor Who, probably the tardis console or the pandorica and stonehenge... Quote

The junkyard would be amazing. Actually, isn't there a lego ideas set based on that? Would be really nice if it didn't even have to be reviewed and just showed lego that a Doctor Who LINE of products would be immensely popular. Not sure about "key to time" though..... probably would have to be something iconic like a scene from "Genesis of the Daleks" or "Pyramids of Mars" type deal... Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) The junkyard would be amazing. Actually, isn't there a lego ideas set based on that? Indeed there is! Would be really nice if it didn't even have to be reviewed and just showed lego that a Doctor Who LINE of products would be immensely popular. I think that idea was effectively communicated to them already when they not only got a flurry of Doctor Who projects the instant they announced they would start accepting projects based on the theme, but saw not one but two of them each reach the 10,000 supporters mark within a month (entering the same review batch as one another, in the second instance of two very similar projects based on the same licensed property competing against one another, after the two Ghostbusters Ectomobile projects a couple review periods earlier). Those two projects are the second- and third-fastest vote-getters in CUUSOO / Ideas history; only the Minecraft project was faster, and the fact that not one but two substantially similar projects each managed to get their votes so quickly at the same time (while competing with still other Doctor Who projects, too) had to send a clear message to TLG that there was a serious demand for official LEGO Doctor Who. And I'm confident that appraisal will be proven right by the sales. Edited September 25, 2015 by Blondie-Wan Quote

No, undeniably it was, but I don't think it gives off that "classic" vibe like a "pyramid of mars" or "genesis of the dalek" (classic episodes) set would. Those have iconic vibes. I mean, clips from "genesis" were used in the latest episode! Quote

Genesis of the Daleks is a classic but what could be done except for a LEGO Davros? And Pyramid of Mars: does anyone really want to build Sutekh's throne? Quote
