If headgear counts--I don't like the bowler hat too much. I love the idea, but the execution isn't the best. When it's pushed all the way down so it sits securely on the head, it usually covers part of the minifigure's eyes (kind of like the old-style baseball cap backwards, except there's no good-looking "forward" position).

Surprisingly or otherwise, I don't like pieces that have too much decoration, are very large compared to average bricks, joints and caps, and in general have very little 'Lego' about them. They just remind me of a generic molded plastic toy, not a creative puzzle piece. For me, Lego was always a construction kit first, and thematic cuteness is an afterthought. (obviously mass market diasagrees and dicatetes its own rules - gotta follow the buying public, huh?).

As a weird geek/nerd, I always found finding new types of brick, clutch, axles, slope etc more exciting than new stories, cool hats or whatever. For me the first is the meat, and the latter just a sauce. I know that for many others its the opposite, but I think I have a sizable portion of similar minded folks.

Without having a particular part in mind I will say this. I dont necessarily despise oversized accesories. The wrench and walkie, I think, are fine. I really like the new (or old?) magnifying glass. The oversized nature of the parts are mostly functional; how can you really make tools more to scale? I think their size is part of the overall minifig charm.

All that said, the scimitar though is a bit outlandish.

Not really a minifigure part. But I really don't like the lego black spiders. They can look a bit realistic at a passing glance and they look really creepy in the lego games. Any other color there fine since real spiders aren't pure red or transparent but the black ones just creep me out

The non bendable short legs always struck me as a bit of a cop out, but what I really despise is the 2x2 slope brick used for skirts. If they can make a Disney Princess sit down, they can make a bendable skirt piece for minifigs as well. The square brick just looks bad and all the female characters that use it are taller than regular minifigures. It's just silly.

I actually like the scimitar…

I've never been a fan of this type of sword though.

Gotta agree on the Stormtrooper parts though, cannot stand the leg pieces. Collar piece isn't so bad, just kind of bulky looking. I also hate this type of whip:

Not exactly sure why… guess I'm just kind of sick of seeing it.

That was not intended to be a sword.

That's a scythe blade.

As for me, i'd say the short legs, big figures (c'mon, more poseability! Even the head can't move!), and the bowler hat. It just doesn't look right, even if the intended character was bald in the first place.

It's been used as a sword a few times though. Off the top of my head I believe it was used as a sword by one of the Thuggees in the Temple of Doom set. That would explain why it's so awkward though.

It's used as a blade (and never a scythe) in Ninjago a lot of times, as well as the old Castle.

By the way, that whip is actually pretty useful. You can have dynamic swing posing (Catwoman grappling from traffic lights) and it can be used like a wire in certain builds.

I like the old whip too.

I also don't like rubbery hairpieces as much. I've been trying to get over it because a quite a few hairpieces are using it now but I can't help but feel a bit disappointed when I get them.

Most of the accessories are oversized while still looking decent - apples as big as heads, bananas as long as arms, etc - but I have hated that scimitar from the first time I saw it due to its size and sheer ugliness.

I like the various beards - they may not be perfect but they do provide some variety. As much as I liked the Abe Lincoln CMF, I agree that the hat/hair combo is otherwise just about useless. Other hat/hair combos are better if they can be reused somehow.

I can't stand the short legs - those minifigs look like the unfortunate victims of bad workplace accidents, or got in a fight with a chain saw and lost.

I also don't like the silly skirts, but I like the printed dress slopes even though the torsos come off too easy and they're taller than standard legs; I think the design works well enough for different time periods as a generic dress.

The musket is so-so; the pistol is ugly but I like it for nostalgic reasons. But a redesign would be better.

Hate the stud-shooters. Waste of parts.

I could probably think of a few more but I think that covers the felonies...
