jonfett Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 I think I can hold off from getting these for now, even at the reduced price! ;) Thanks for the news though mutley, and I may get a mini JSF from the TRU website. Jon.
mutley777 Posted April 8, 2005 Author Posted April 8, 2005 no problem jon. I'm sure the ebay sellers will snap them up quick anyway
Orlego Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Ours are probably marked down to $20. I will have to check. 10 of these would make an awesome addition to my army. :D ;)
Vader Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Well its a good deal but i have far to many ties already and with all the new sets out i would rather spend my money on those :)

Sarg_Kulo Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Does anyone recommend this set? I don't know whether or not to get this or Imperial inspection
mutley777 Posted April 10, 2005 Author Posted April 10, 2005 well if you want more ties its a good set and vaders tie is a new model that is also available in the new y-wing tie set 7262. if you want a complete collection then it is a must but if you have the new tie 7263 and 7262 then it is not really worth it just for the tie drone (which was never in a film).
Sarg_Kulo Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Thanks, what EU source was the drone from anyway?
mutley777 Posted April 10, 2005 Author Posted April 10, 2005 i'm not to sure, i think i was from a game. but don't know which.
jonfett Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 This is a droid/computer controlled starfighter mass-produced from the factories of the World Devastators of the Battle of Calamari and the Shadow Hand campaign. Hope this is what you were looking for. For more info see - http://members.tripod.com/angel_blue01/sta...s_fleet/tie.htm Jon.
mutley777 Posted April 10, 2005 Author Posted April 10, 2005 ahh i found it :) from www.calormen.com The TIE Drone (or TIE Droid) is from the Dark Empire comics, is detailed in the Star Wars Guide to Vessels and Vehicles and is your adversary in the last level of the LucasArts game Rogue Squadron.
Sarg_Kulo Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 JonFett. The guy on that website is smokin some serious crack. Only one earthling has seen a TIE ddrond or wateva???? He needs medication. And what exactly is the "third" battle of Yavin? I still found the site useful tho ;)
