Very nice build, the smooth lines are spot on and I really like all the details like the plant in a pot and the way you stuck the round 2x2s on top of the gas machines! Also for some reason the understud on the top of the S looks really awesome to me!

Great work!

Nice model of an art deco service station!

I would have left out the wall and the red/black logo on the right, it seems a bit strange and takes away the attention on the building in my opinion.

Thanks Commander Red Hat, I felt the model needed a little more colour and my original attempt was without a wall and a much larger sign than the one on the left but it was difficult to stabilize at height. There's several example of gas stations of this era having a similar arrangement with a Logo on the wall, im guessing it was to attract passing motorists!

Exceptional retrò architecture!

I like the tower with all those trans-clear plates!

I commented on this over on Flickr, but I have to say here as well that I think it's a gorgeous piece of architecture you've built. The smooth surfaces and transitions are so well done, and those signs are just perfect. You really are a master of this style!

Thanks LEGO Train 12 Volts and L@go!

I like it, but I think it would've been MUCH better with the Octan branding.

Cheers ilikeboomerang1, I would have loved to do octan branding and it crossed my mind when I started but I couldn't source the large arches in red and I don't think they make them in green yet so I went for my chosen style but using black and brown. It probably would have looked well cool in all red if I had the pieces!

wow very impressive great work
