February 17, 20169 yr Hi! Sorry for the name! -> I think I messed up . I tried to blame it on autocorrection but does not really make sense! I also checked on tractor tyres for my Xerion...but 100 EURO....will see. JB No problem about my name. And auto-correct can work like Indian translator... I've contacted Herr Kunz about tires, and wee'll see what I can do. Perfect will be that LEGO makes this one in red http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=88517&idColor=85#T=C&C=85 so I can use a pair of them per wheel...

If I want to realize project that is in my current plans, I have no choice. I doubt that LEGO will make 135 mm tires with pattern like one on Xerion 5000 VC. and to "stretch" Power puller tire on this overall diameter will result in very narrow tire for sprayer or something like that...From my point of view optimal solution for Power puller tire you can see on my folder under this link http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=535390 Hi! February 22, 20169 yr Let me/us know when you got the tyres...I am still thinking of mine... JB I will. that is no problem. In about 8 weeks time they'll be ready and another week for shipment...Just a slight difference - beacause I need them for rear wheel - mine will be used on double motorcycle wheels (this one) http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=88517&idColor=85#T=C&C=85
February 22, 20169 yr Author I decided to go with the exhaust pipe...even though the new models do not have it I think it is somehow iconic... Lego Class Xerion 5000_Exhaust by JB Technic, on Flickr JB Edited February 22, 20169 yr by JBTechnic
February 22, 20169 yr That might be true, but if you have build a replica of the nee type, you have to loose the pipe. The new one has an exhaust box between the front and back tire under the cab.
February 22, 20169 yr Author I can change whenever I want...it is quick to disassemble the big exhaust pipe and put on the small one at the cabin. My Xerion is now where I wanted it to be...driving, cabin turning, pneumatic...my Kids already hae fun. Now it is time to build somthing the Xerion can pull... JB

March 5, 20169 yr Wow, these look great! Going to try the PP tires soon on my Backhoe V2 and if I'm still not satisfied I know what to do!

March 12, 20168 yr The tires look great! I'm looking for better tires for the 42030 Volvo loader on the original rims, suggestions are welcome! A bit wider and higher would be excellent.
March 12, 20168 yr Author I do not have the Volvo. But looking at it, GMade Bighorns might be a good choice. What tread pattern are you looking for? JB
March 13, 20168 yr The problem with the Volvo is that the rims are to big, the ratio between rim and tire on a loader is about 50/50, so I think it should use the rims off 8265 and tires with the same outer diameter as the ones on there now. Width is about right I think.
March 13, 20168 yr Author I agree, smaller rims will look better. Difficult to find...couple of threads I posted some links to shops. JB
March 31, 20168 yr I will. that is no problem. In about 8 weeks time they'll be ready and another week for shipment...Just a slight difference - beacause I need them for rear wheel - mine will be used on double motorcycle wheels (this one) http://alpha.brickli...lor=85#T=C&C=85 Hi Everyone, few days ago tires arrived. First impression - they are very very heavy and tread pattern does not look like one on real tractor and LEGO Xerion, but like tire for equipment like sprayer (not self propelled one but like this one http://www.getfarming.com.au/cdt/uploads/1/features/1200710311912.jpg), so there is no use for me. Another problem is that wheel does not fit nicely enough inside the tire sou I had to "play" with sandpaper in order to fit in this wheel (a pair of them per tire) http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=88517&idColor=85#T=C&C=85 I can take pictures and show you what disappointment from my point of view it is. Now I can only hope that LEGO makes 135mm tire that has fully compatible pattern tread with Xerion tire. I know that you expected this post earlier and aI can only thank you for patience.

December 14, 20168 yr properly impressive. It's been great to see your continual little improvements :) a few mocers have definately encouraged me to buy third party tyres.
