January 23, 20169 yr Author The first Version is now running smooth. The steering works fine and the pneumatische is also doing its job. Howerver In decided to look for more space and I started to work on the front axle: This way I can make the frame stiffer and it will be more like the real one (no portal axles). The reduction is now right at the motor.

January 30, 20169 yr Hello JB, Don't know if the question has been asked before, but which rims did you use? From the looks of it, this one is bigger then the new one from TLG.

January 30, 20169 yr No offense taken, I've painted my pneumatic cylinders white to put on my white crane on the back of the Actros I am building.

February 5, 20169 yr Author The ones I use a GMade BigHorns: http://tamico.de/Gmade-Bighorn-Rock-Crawling-Reifen-22-2-Stk I am still on the search for farmer-tires with a diameter of 130 mm 'cause I've chosen a scale of 1:16 - pretty massive :sweet: JB I think the cab hangs foreward a bit to much, other than that great job! Thanks...shifted it back by 1/2 pin...

February 6, 20169 yr I think you really did a great job on this build, the shape is very well done...!!!
February 6, 20169 yr Author Thanks! Was tough... cause' not much space to include functions. Planning to build a trailer next... a big ohne :) :)
February 13, 20169 yr Author Changed the cabin a bit ...new picture wil follow Edited February 13, 20169 yr by JBTechnic
February 13, 20169 yr The cabin is nice and overall it is a great model but i think that the back axl is mounted 1 stud to low. That is why the tractor standing higher at the back and lower at the front. The ladder to clime in to the cab is for that reason not in a upright position. The other thing that is not right are the cilinders of the 3 point hook, they are to long.
February 13, 20169 yr Author Thanks! I cannot think of something that made me design the rear axle at a different hight than the front one :). I think it is the angle of the camera...I'll see. Regarding the cylinders, what is your suggestion, keep in mind I'd like to use pneumatic functions? JB
February 14, 20169 yr Author ...and some lights.... Lego Technic Xerion Lights by JB Technic, on Flickr
February 14, 20169 yr That is much better. It was the angle of the camera. Maybe you could use the small short cilinders. Then the up position now could be the down position.

I'll see what kind of tread for tractors is "compatible" with new LEGO Xerion tire which is good for front. On second page, second row could be promising. http://home.arcor.de/hobbybedarfkunz/Preisliste2013_Seite%202.pdf so I have to contact moder tire manufacturer to see what can be done. Just hope that Tires are not to heavy, but I'll see what can be done... btw I don't think that I'm John. Perhaps as a John doe my life would be better, who knows... thanks
February 16, 20169 yr Author Hi! Sorry for the name! -> I think I messed up . I tried to blame it on autocorrection but does not really make sense! I also checked on tractor tyres for my Xerion...but 100 EURO....will see. JB
