jaesroe Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Yeah, my apologies for "misleading", but what I saw was very clear and coming directly from LEGO. It could be that they changed plans. It would not be the first time. A few days ago I found table with planned set retirements which I saw in LEGO store year and a half ago.. As you can see, things did't exactly go as was planned. No~ you don't need to! Thanks for this picture! yes it seems that plans could be changed in the future, depending on circumstance. it is interesting to find that HE's exit date was 31.12.2016 Modular bank looks nice, but I do look forward to seeing GBHQ!!! probably in April?? let's wait and see. Goes to show nothing is really fixed, even the best plans can changed. Quote
Brick-Surfer Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Is it actually save/confirmed that there will be a GBHQ at all? I mean, a couple of days ago everyone relied on the apparently reliable sources who claimed the set will be released in Jan 16 – and now … Quote

Bricky Dee Williams Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Oh, it's coming alright... I never doubted it for a second. The question is, when? Quote
jaesroe Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) I never doubted it for a second. The question is, when? Yes..when? .....in fact, GBHQ releasing rumour is more exciting than annual modular news this year... Edited October 12, 2015 by jaesroe Quote
ultron32 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Two new reveals at NYCC. One today and one tomorrow/over the weekend. The second is suppose to be more on point for NYCC, possibly Angry Birds but my money is on D2C bat cave or GBHQ So much for that. Disappointingly only Nexo Knights, and no giveaways or exclusives. I also did look forward to hearing another big announcement from TLG over the weekend of NYCC 2015, but only Nexo knights...According to TLG's twitter, 'Watch for a big announcement through the weekend' ...then what was a big announcement through the weekend of NYCC 2015? Lego did announce the modular brick bank this weekend with the jan 2016 release so I think that was what they were referring to. Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Lego did announce the modular brick bank this weekend with the jan 2016 release so I think that was what they were referring to. Hardly a 'big announcement'. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 The next modular building isn't a big announcement? Quote
droid747 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 If you do not collect modulars I can see where you think it is not a huge announcement. But it is for those that collect them. I myself do not collect them. Only have star wars ucs sets and the ecto 1 but want the gb hq but I still consider the brick bank to be their big announcement. Quote
legonerd54321 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Can somebody fill me in on all of the rumored release dates? I got lost when we said July Quote

It isn't even anything interesting like a theatre or film studio. Quote

8BrickMario Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I think a bank is very interesting, since we've never gotten a proper one before. On topic, the release date is now stated to be July next year, which probably means no news from NYCC. Quote

jaesroe Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Hi Just2Good, I wonder you have or heard any new updates or news about GBHQ release ?? Quote
just2good Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Hi Just2Good, I wonder you have or heard any new updates or news about GBHQ release ?? Nah bruh, except that we're considering that maybe the January 1st release date was a placeholder? Quote
jaesroe Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Well, that's all interesting. I think it'd be much better for them to release it for January to avoid confusion with the new movie (if we're getting sets on that), but oh well, guess they'll be able to make more bucks on those Venkman and Slimer LEGO Dimensions packs. Nah bruh, except that we're considering that maybe the January 1st release date was a placeholder? Thanks for your prompt response. Well then I hope that the GBHQ to be released in April time...because I also agree with your point that releasing in July 2016 might cause confusion with new Ghost busters movie as this GBHQ will be based on the original movie. Actually I wised GBHQ in January and Modular in April... Quote
