Nice! It looks better than I was expecting. Can't wait for some interior pics :moar:

It looks great. I wonder what the UK price will be, since that will decide if I can justify getting it to add to my Modular street

Well it is what it is, I expect it to be jam packed inside, not to sound like an ungrateful child, but i'm still waiting to be impressed.

Lots of people were crying they want two modulars per year, so there you have it... sort of.

...that's it? I know it's a thin building, but it looks so small next to the figures. It looks nice, and I love Venkman, but it seems a bit underwhelming. I can't wait to see the other figures.

Also, how lame is that sign?

Lego have announced their price points:

4,634 pieces.

US $349.99 - CA $399.99 - DE 349.99€ - UK £274.99 - DK 2999.00 DKK

Not sure I can justify the cost for myself, although it is over 4500 pieces. Tbh I can't see where all those pieces have gone, so I guess it must have an impressive interior

£274.99?! Is the interior gold plated?

I think I'm going to wait for the high-res images to get a better impression. I don't think these photos are doing wonders for the set reveal...

I was wondering the same, although the dimensions given and piece count are both the equivalent of 2 modular buildings. The price isn't much more than 2 modular buildings, which would account for licensing costs.

Looks good, I like those figures.

Yeah it looks like a fan did it, focusing on the novelty instead of the actual set.

The general public probably didn't know it was in the works. So it's a teaser. Can't wait to see the official vid. I gotta start saving.

I am going to state the unpopular opinion here:

At least on the exterior, it stays accurate to the building and looks generally good to me. But, to be honest, it is not as detailed or delicate as the modular buildings in the creator line. If it were not for the franchise influence and it were just another modular building, I don't think it is really that attractive. But, I believe the interior is going to be amazing. That said, it is still a pass for me since I am not really that much of a ghostbusters fan. But, it is a must-have for fans, I guess. With the same budget, If I have to choose either the modulars (PR and DO) or the GB building, I would take the former though the minifigs in GB building are easily an overwhelming win even though I am not a fan of GB.

Do others share the same thought? Please don't hate on me. Just stating my opinion is all.

Very good point. I'm mostly interested in this as an addition to my Modular street. With the fairly plain exterior it has a feel of a larger, but less detailed Fire Brigade

My thoughts exactly - but at this point I am even more willing to get it instead of MISB Fire Brigade for more-less the same price. And we are yet to see the interior!

For the price, the interior better be phenomenal & have all bells & whistles

Also a good point. I got lucky when getting my FB second hand. This set would be great for MOCing a similar building

I wonder when we will get interior pictures, as that must be where the majority of the bricks have gone.

Awesome! So that's why Marcos Bessa was there on Facebook today...

This is why I hate that every piece essentially costs the same. 1x1 tiles should not be equal to 2x4 bricks. The teaser doesn't make the set look very good, so the inside and the minifigures better be fantastic.

Wow, so much negativity here. I think it looks great, myself. But I, too, am antsy to see the interior.

That's a lot of pieces with a heavy price tag. I was never a huge Ghostbusters fan, so I guess I will have to see the interior and what kind of pieces we are getting. If I get it, it will be for parts for MOC modular building.

Oh it actually is $350 and has 4600+ pieces...

Venkman has slime on him!!

Yes, just2good revealed that about a month or so ago in this forum. If you want him unslimed you'll have to buy him in the Dimensions pack.

Congratulations to just2good for getting every rumor right, down to the price and release date. Glad to hear it is January not July, although it does coincide with the Dimensions GB sets.

Woo it is confirmed. Nice. When i saw the title changed I though something good happened.

What a marvelous set! While I probably won't be able to afford it, I'll simply be content in looking (and longing) ;) at it...

Agreed. Not quite the response I expected, but to each his own. I think it looks awesome so far. Bring on the interior!
