jaesroe Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Through the top middle window one can see a sticker representation of a horned man, which must be Vigo in his painting. Yes! it was Vigo~ Quote
BirdOPrey5 Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Where is the tank thing they put all the captured ghosts in? I would have thought that would be a key feature! That appears to be the very back of the first floor, under the stairs. I don't see enough room for the car in this at all. Quote
marcosbessa Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 You need to remove the ground-floor's furniture (they are easily removable) in order to have room to park the car and close the doors, but the Ecto-1 does go through the entrance! it was the compromise I had to make between making the car "fit the model" without leaving a big empty space in the ground-floor and compromising on details like Janine or Peter's desks. PastVPresent Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 (edited) These pics look incredible, definitely worth the wait - so many great details like fire escape, boom box, toaster, fridge, and arcade games Edited November 11, 2015 by PastVPresent Quote

This set is amazing! Simple but genius builds for the fridge, lamp, and computer. Gonna use those sometime... Nice job, Marcos! :) Quote
legonerd54321 Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Can somebody upload them to Imgur? I can't view them due to restrictions at school Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 (edited) Oh my gosh! These are definitely worth the wait, they're amazong! The pole, that toilet, the costume lockers, the whole building, just purely fantastic! I can just see the Ecto-1 barely fitting in. And CM4Sci, you're right, the box is beautiful! Marcos Bessa did not fail here! Edited November 11, 2015 by Aegis2000 Quote
Emmi Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Looks like a lot of stickers , yet again ... is it just me or does Marcos like stickers a lot? I just say Simpsons sets! Also I don't understand the reluctance on LEGO's part to giving us fully finished floors. The set is already one of the most expensive ever - why not thrown in a few more tiles? Quote

You and I have same problem. And this problem are stickers, for this price Im expecting set without stickers. This is huge let down. But this isnt Marco Besa issue, this is TLC issue that cant print because it probably cost money that can be saved with stickers. Emmi Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 The 2nd thing that I hate is the lack of tiles for the floors - it started with the Kwik-E-Mart and continues here now - that's Marco's fault, I'm sure if argued right TLC is willing to give him the extra pieces needed. It just looks "unfinished" this way? Quote
8BrickMario Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Sets are almost never fully tiled. I prefer the studs, honestly, just because there's less limitations on where you can place your minifigures. With a fully-tiled floor, a few jumpers have to be scattered around to secure any figures to the floor. Quote
Emmi Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 But at least for the ground floor they could have gone for tiles - I mean how are we supposed to park Ecto 1 in there at all? Quote

sebitsena Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Shitkers in a collector model sold at this price... Just shoking! O.O Going to create a petition : no more stickers in Lego sets! Quote

That makes perfect sense. Can you explain why the GB logo is a sticker? Why isn't it a printed piece like in case of Ecto-1? Quote
kelceycoe Posted November 11, 2015 Author Posted November 11, 2015 (edited) Here are over 27 photos on Brickset from the official FB posting. http://brickset.com/...se-Headquarters These photos help to answer many FAQs: * Luis has a two sided head, as it appears almost all the minifigures do. * There are many Vigo paintings throughout so sorry to those who refused to see it when me and several other people made it our business to point it out and you still had doubts. * The Ecto-1 doesn't fit unless you move the furniture, as the designer has stated in these forums. Otherwise it sits halfway in and halfway out, which is still a good look and ultimately reminiscent of the iconic scene after receiving their first call. * The Ecto-1 can drive over the jumper studs if need be to fit the car. The furniture will have to be moved in the back anyway. * The containment unit is under the staircase at the left-most of the building from the open interior image. * To get the set to fit the car without moving the furniture you'll have to basically buy a set without minifigures and just almost replicate the bricks and use the square baseplate. You'll also be able to give the house more, if not too much room. * Except for the outside I do not see much pink slime. * The interior is not very similar to the rejected Ideas project by Sergio. * Sergio's design allowed for the Ecto-1 by reserving 20x8 pixels, so that can also be used to judge how much room you'd need to store the Ecto-1. Looking at the set and counting the pixels it looks like it is possible but will be a very tight fit to fit the Ecto-1 (unmodified so mine won't fit) into the Firehouse without moving any furniture or modding the design (all else fails only the toolbox looks like it'd need moved) I almost think there is no modding needed truthfully aside from what is there and that this could be one heck of a set. badbob001 Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 I have a problem. My first reaction was a desire to go to bricklink and order tiles for the floors. I've resisted so far. Quote
ARSLOCK Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 I wish it came with EPA guy Walter Peck, anyone have a good idea for a purist version of him? Quote
