Not in the immediate future. For now it is a Lego Shop exclusive, expect other stores to have it in a few months or so.

Just finished building the first floor. I'm in love with this set.

I modded my Ecto-1 right after I first got it - shrunk it down to a more City scale 6 studs wide by 20 studs long. It fits in the garage without removing anything. And I only have to remove Janine's desk to give it room for the doors to open and close. I may consider removing Peter's desk and having Janine sit that far back permanently.

Do you have any pictures of your modification? I'd love to see that. :sweet:

There's some in this album:

No pics in the firehouse, yet. It's still under construction.

Was at the LEGO Store 15 minutes before they opened and got the Firehouse. I had $95 in LEGO gift cards, a $50 AMEX gift card and $35 in VIP points so I only paid $170 for it. I also picked up a $13 Iron Man/Ultron Marvel set for my son, so after taxes, I only paid $212. I still got 316 VIP points for the Firehouse and 11 VIP points for the Marvel set. So, I got another $15. Between this, the Death Star I got for Christmas and the Joker Steam Roller I picked up on vacation, I'm going to be busy.

Um...way to go with the discounts! That's less than half price on a brand new set! As for the others, happy building!

Finished the first (ground) floor and most of the first story. I'm LOVING the interior. So many little details and cool little builds! Easily my favorite build to date. But on the other hand, I'm seeing improvements/mods I'm going to make after i finish building it stock.

People who have the set: can you please give me the long number on the back of the instruction book? It is about 7 digits.

The Cleveland LEGO store sold out of the GB HQ and Bank modulars in a few hours. Looks like S@H for me. (sob!)

Why do you need this number?

I've been wondering what I want to do about this set. I'm either thinking of making it the sole, huge item to ask for for my birthday (in March, long wait) or to figure out another way to get it. Right now, I have about half the money I need, plus perhaps some VIP points to take off a little...I really want this set, but it looks like a longish wait for me.

6164659 those the numbers you are looking for?

Why do you need this number?

I'm my experience you need throw number to get replacement parts to the liscence sets. My guess is they are chancing it to see if anyone wil give them it so they can get ahold of a mini figure or their parts. :-/

Just needed the number to see whether the pdf of the instructions were stored on the Lego website

Just out of curiosity, how many pages are in the instructions?

There was this one review that said it is 418 pages

An instruction booklet of biblical proportions!

(Even if the Bible does have about 600 pages on the instruction booklet, you get the gist)

Has anyone integrated the GB HQ in his/her modular layout yet? I want this set, but it would be great to see it first in the middle of a city layout. Not sure yet how it will fit. Although it's minifig scale, looks like a little bit of a monster to me.

Thanks, Cremilar! As I supected, feels a bit out of scale. What d'you think, fellow brickers?

Looks really fine to me. It's a bit big, but it is a huge house in reality, too. I like it!
