Terrasher Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I really like the black and grey windows on the second and third floors of the building, they remind me of something more industrial-looking. As for the interior? Details... so many of them... Beautiful! Quote
Palixa And The Bricks Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Oh, I love this one (almost missed it). Great use of colours and I also like the atmosphere. My favourite details are the shop windows, the entrance area, the counter on the ground floor and the sewing machines ... and everything else I think this is your best modular so far. Quote
SearchFunction Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 So many details. I'm going to bookmark this for later . Quote
Obi1by1 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 This is wonderful, Peedeejay! It's not just the architectural details that you've captured in Lego bricks, it's the fact that it's so full of life and colour. Also, just from a practical point of view, I love you have handled the stairs, and access to the upper floors in general. Beautiful! I've saved the pictures so that I can try to capture something of what you've done in my future MOCs! Quote
xtremeteamuk Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Wow the detail in this is amazing. Great work on this modular. Quote
Withacee Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Lovely! Never thought that colour combination would work, but it really does. I also really like the back wall angles and the passover to the second floor in the back, and the interior. Keep clicking those bricks together! Quote
peedeejay Posted March 19, 2018 Author Posted March 19, 2018 (edited) I revisted the model to do one major change: Changing the color of the roof. Even though I am still happy with the olive green roof, the olive green slopes are hard to get nowadays and I had a lot of people wanting to build this and having trouble to gather the necessary parts. So I changed the color to dark blue which also works quite well I think. I also did some part optimization, reduding the amount of lots and replacing expensive parts with less expensive ones. Part count is slightly increased though, being 4912 now. Used the chance to create some better pictures. :) Edited March 19, 2018 by peedeejay Quote
koalayummies Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Still perfection! Though the olive green roof is particularly beautiful it works just as well with with the richness of earth blue, excellent color change choice. Love this building! Such an elegant design. Quote
LegoModularFan Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 I really liked the original design, medium dark flesh and olive green fit surprisingly well. I’m personally not sure with the new version, it doesn’t fit with the ambiance of the building IMO if one isn’t not searching for a more fantastic look... But who knows, it may grow on me I start to miss your unique style, do you have any upcoming? I hope so! Quote
