WHAT THE ??

That looks awesome. And that's a pretty decent Pope minifigure

But strictly talking, this is just St. Peter's square and Basilica.

Vatican is the whole country

True !! I have been there a couple of times and it's an amazing place lots of beautiful art works and history (both good and bad) but small it the larger scheme of things. I really like the fact I am seeing a Lego building with a red roof reminds me of my sets from when I was a kid.

"Simon's Lego Vatican is going on display at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, where Pope Francis is scheduled to take part in the World Meeting of Families on Sept. 26 and Sept. 27. It coincides with the museum's new Vatican Splendorsexhibit, which showcases significant objects from the Catholic Church's history. "

I would very much like to see this exhibit, my family would be interested to see the other Vatican Splendors too.:thumbup:

It would be something if the Pope stopped to view the Lego display and there was a picture taken of him holding that minifigure.

That is absolutely gorgeous. A fairly interesting article as well. I'm really loving all the little details he put into it.

I think picture 7 of 23 is meant to be the minifigure Pope as he's standing on the balcony (Loggia of the Benediction)

Impressive. Did he make a Pope minifig? It didn't say in the news article. :classic:

It can be seen in one of the pics
