My judgings are based on what I can see, which isn't much. I will of course save final judgement for the ToyFair in a few weeks. I can see practically nothing from the Makuta, other than that they are insects one of them appears to have a Pridak-sized head. That one looks way too ugly, but I never buy green anyway. Looks like I lucked out. Gali looks good, though at this point I cannot determine if she will end up with features distinguishing her as feminine, or at least not as a man. (Hahli Inika anyone?) Onua I can't tell at all. The best I can comment on is Tahu. What is on his right hand? I can hardly distinguish what is on either of his hands, the pose is so terrible. I like what may be silver Piraka legs, which lend to an armored feel. I don't know what those things sticking out of his Piraka body are. I do like the colorization and usage of Metru armor, as it lends to a feel similar to the old Nuva. His mask is superb; if only it wasn't Tahu, but instead used on someone else. I would have preferred a modern Hau. I like those blades on his legs, I can see a great variety of uses for them. All in all, I can see that these are a lot farther from their original Nuva counterparts than Kopaka and his group. I'm not sure if I like the ninja/knight style here, but I must say that I do like that Tahu Nuva set, even if I don't agree with it being Tahu Nuva. I will have to retain judgement on the others, because I can hardly see them in those pics. Incorrect Factual Information! :-D The Lego Company made a confirmed profit in 2005 and 2006. And I actually feel sorry for the set designers; the other day on Official Greg Discussion, Greg told someone a story of how a set designer actually might have had to the have the COLOR of his model changed because of the focus groups. Imagine what sheer power these focus groups are capable of! They could evolve BIONICLE into something wondrous, or they could destroy it forever. 8- Quote

Seriously, from what I can tell from the pictures these three Toa aren't bad but don't have any resemblance to the old Toa Mata. I guess thats why others were saying the Spring Toa did have a closer look to the old Toa, because compared to these, the resemblance is amazing. ;-) Oh well, I can't tell too much without better pictures. Its funny. The picture of the vehicle with the Red Toa-sized guy on it made me say 'I hope thats not Tahu's mask, because I didn't think it looked like Tahu. And now I'm thinking that mask looked much more like Tahu Nuva than this looks like either Nuva or Mata. Well, I liked Kopaka better than Tahu anyway and had already decided his original form wasn't being retired so now original Tahu hangs out with original Kopaka and fights Makuta. Oh, and last thing...the new bad guys. We need better pictures. I was a fan of the look of the Spring Makuta despite some parts-monkey drawbacks. These look less good so far. Maybe the clear pictures will knock my socks off (and turn them evil by draining their light.) -Tohst Tahu, shut your pie-hole and stay out of the Wools worth! Quote

Your designers KNEW these were the Nuva! they KNEW that every fan knows exactly how the Nuva look, no matter how stupid the fanbase may be. Why would they put no resemblance at all to the character whose design has stood as the very definition of what Bionicle is for the past seven years???? Lhikan can pull of a newly designed Hau, why can Tahu Ninja not? :( I am not happy anymore. Quote
