Hehehehe - well it probably didn't happen because I apparently was the only one there that had actually seen that video. And I sure wasn't going to embarrass myself. However, I did show my knowledge of the video in another way. Know how I won the book in the trivia contest? Well, after the first prize winner got his awesome prize, me and another fan battled it out for a while for second place. Finally, Greg gave us a question "that you'll really have to guess on." What was the question? "About how tall is Mata Nui? 7 meters, 700 meters, 70000 meters, or 700000 meters?" Well, you can guess what I said. The other kid guessed 7 meters, so I won. On another note, something else I learned was that some company actually approached Greg about the possibility of making a feature length motion picture of Bionicle for the big screen! Nothing's set in stone yet, and it may not work out - but still, WOAH. There are two parts to me. One is the really old, cranky Bionicle fan that wants to see the poster of Mata Nui and immediately scream Ruined Forever, regardless of it being actually cool or not. I want to see the land mass that is Mata Nui wake up and walk away with giant <insert that tiresome argument> parts, 9 billion parts in flat silver, SUPER cheesy launcher gimmicks, non-turning waists, canisters and lids with no aaxle or pin connection points and asymmetrical parts. Actually, I have a hunch that the poster of Mata Nui will really be a map of the entire Matoran Universe, with the island of Mata Nui as the head, and a partly submerged body below it. Now that would be cool. Oh, BTW, Vastus aparrently is still a character in 2009, even though he's not in that level 3 reader anymore. And he's NOT a Matoran. Quote

I think I'll try to get this issue somehow... via Bricklink, for example. Want not to have only Warhammer posters on my wall. I'm eager to see how this year will end, and, well, eager for Glatorians line. I don't think they will be too bad - that' BIONICLE. It can't get worse than Toa Mistika! But you've gotta remember that each new line of Matoran has eventually been referred to by a different names. There's been Metruan, Voyatoran, Mahritoran, etc. I guess you're right though - as the fans have always made the new matoran subnames, not TLC. Quote

Trexxen Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 (edited) Both. The name "Glatorian" was first leaked by Tyranide, who was told of the name through a contact he has at a lego store. This was followed within days by a book description being put up on Amazon for one of the Level Three Readers (read: Books for 5-7 year olds), which confirmed the set group "Glatorians" as well as one of the characters, Vastus, who was recently revealed to be "not a Matoran". The context of this could mean that the small sets are not Matoran (highly likely), or that Vastus is a canister set (ALSO highly likely). ~Trexxen (Edit: Aww...Ninja'd. Pencoin Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 vastus is green and the white one has a shield i presume and the bad guys being rahi (sounds like '01) buts thats only what i think but yes the it is looking up and with the film... i think its a good way to end bionicle (it will end.. oil ends - LEGO ends ) and i will try to find a scan of the four page poster but i belive its the picture we have already seen and i belive everything in that kiddie book descrption, why? well a toy r us page for the phantoka when the were newly realsed metioned the sprit storm... . Well i hope theres a game aswell with the film Quote
