Zarkan Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Oh yeah, the darn movies. They had so much potential and they ended up being so lame. :-| Only the bionicle adventures book series saved the storyline from being dumb, and they were great! ;-) Quote
Clonie Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 There are 15 sets in the first wave, so one more after Icarax. And there IS a movie coming out in 2009-2010. Quote

dviddy Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 I believe the 15th set is the exclusive Brickmaster set. I could be wrong. And who said Icarax is going to be a set? Greg. And plus he also said there was one other one we hadn't even heard of yet. <<DV>> Quote
Shakar Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 6 small sets 6 Phantoka 1 Toa Ignika 1 Icarax 1 Mystery set 12+3= 15. *skull* Shakar *skull* Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Well, if there's ammo packs, that would be 16, as they'd have a set number. Quote
Clonie Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 I think ammo packs would have more appeal in 2008 than in 2007 or 2006, since the ammunition for these sets appear to be more than one piece -- I can see that the Makuta weapons are, at least. I'd personally like a truckload of those Trydax-pod-kraata-mutant things, to bury the Toa Nuva in. *sweet* Quote
Shakar Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Well, the 15th set may indeed be an ammo pack. I can't see 3 Titans in the January wave. *skull* Shakar *skull* Quote
Clonie Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Hmm, I don't think so, ammo packs aren't usually exclusives, and I'm not convinced they're titans, probably like the Toa Hagah except in the first wave and not the second. That would make more sense. Quote
Kynok Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Yes, but there's the Brickmaster Exclusive, stated by Greg... 6 small sets 6 Phantoka 1 Toa Ignika 1 Icarax 1 Mystery set 1 Brickmaster Excl. 6 + 6 + 4 = 16 sets Quote
Shakar Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Anyone has an idea of how might Icarax look like? I hope he's not red. I can't understand why Lego never makes white Titans...aren't white sets, along red ones, the ones that sell the best? Icarax should be white and black, with some trans ice blue highlights. *skull* Shakar *skull* Quote

I hope that other one is a purple Rahi, and I don't mean Barney either. ;;D It would be great to see more colors in the sets. They don't seem to use much purple, gold, copper, or many of the trans colors. I also love the wonderful marbling they did with the Barraki. Edited October 24, 2007 by BrotherDog Quote
VBBN Posted October 29, 2007 Author Posted October 29, 2007 Well, there goes our mask packs. :-( Quote
InnerRayg Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Well, there goes our mask packs. :-( What, you actually expected Mask Packs? Optimism is fun and all, but this is just silly. Quote
VBBN Posted November 3, 2007 Author Posted November 3, 2007 What, you actually expected Mask Packs? Optimism is fun and all, but this is just silly. The nuva created the mask pack conspiricy, and now they dump them? Whats that all about? Quote
Ikki o' Moopyville Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 The nuva created the mask pack conspiricy, and now they dump them? Whats that all about? ... what do you mean? Last mask packs were six years ago when the Nuva were out last. Things have changed -- did you expect them to pop up again just because of the Nuva? :-P -Ikk Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Well, your heart's in the right place at least. I want masks in all different colors again, not just 1 or 3. How... unfun... things have been without them. Quote

How... unfun... things have been without them. I second that. It seemed that they dropped doing that for the sake of ammo refills, as that's when they started making every set more a launcher than anything else. Please Lego, bring back alternate masks/mask-colors. Please.... Oh, come on. You know you want to.... Quote
Shakar Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 1) Can Icarax be called a Phantoka, along with the "unknown winter titan" and the three "canister villains"?1) Yes That means Icarax is a bat/demon like being too. I wonder how they'll be able to do hand to hand combat when their arms are their wings (at least on Chirox and Vamprah).Shakar Quote

Being mad at Lego for it is just pointless by now.... Edited November 4, 2007 by InnerRayg Quote
