Lovin' the 300, Kmoi.

Anyway, Galewind, I already stopped fighting, and I told Clonie I was doing so. As far as I'm concerned, he's pretty much just trying to goad me back into a public fight again. *sad*

Anyway, I pretty much agree with Ikki... I always thought of the Makuta in 2001 as possessing a big lion-form. Dont know why. Mighta looked cool as a set.

If you didn't want to argue with me, perhaps you shouldn't have replied to my post in the first place, hmmmm? I don't see why you expected to just be able to comment and me not defend back, like it's wrong if I comment on your posts and perfectly acceptable that you can comment on mine, even though the post you commented on wasn't directed at you.

And don't reply to the previous paragraph, I am going to ignore your comments on it anyway. Just give me the quote.

I don't think there is a quote, Clonie. Helden probably misunderstood the Greg quote that says Toa Ignika doesn't speak at all and has a naive, baby-like view on his enemies and allies.

Icarax IS the final product; box pics appeared on BZP yesterday, and from what I saw they were exactly the same as the pics we've seen in the catalog.

Two bits of news, though. One is assuredly good.

On the back of the Icarax box, a hand can be seen spinning Icarax's shield without actually touching the shield. Functions have returned again! So, we can still hold out hope that there may actually be functions on other Titan sets this year, even if you don't like Icarax.

Secondly, GregF confirmed that Takanuva WILL be a set next year. It was already pretty obvious, as he was slated to appear in books and comics later in the year, and typically, only major characters do that. Now, it's official! There is also speculation that since we saw the return of the Kraahkan, we might see the return of a Brutaka-gold Avohkii from 2003.

Hopefully; I like the Avohkii, and my 2003 one is starting to turn green. Ew.

To tell the truth, I don't care if he has an Inika design. I'll be happy as long as he is tall, noble, white and gold, has a staff and wears a mask that at least looks like the old Avokhii (even better if he has the old one).

Yes, but Icarax was a store-exclusive, and they do not have any new pieces. Compare Nocturn to Hydraxon, Maxilos, and Gadunka. All the latters have new pieces. I think the main Titans do get new pieces, just not the store exclusives. Still, if you think about it, to most BIONICLE fans nowadays, the Kraahkan WAS a new mask.

I'm like Shakar; I am merely hoping for white-and-gold, and a cool-looking, Avohkii style mask. The old Avohkii would not be bad, though, as I would like to see it in the new gold.

I'm excited about a new Takanuva.

But, and this is going to sound funny coming from someone who things that LEGO didn't go far enough in keeping the Nuva similar to their original (Olda) forms, I hope he isn't as visually boring this time around.

The gold and white looked nice but he needed either more gold or another offset color. The original had too much white.

So, Best Case Scenario:

Modern Toa body, mostly white but lots of gold accents. New Mask, new staff. I'd be willing to forsake a lame transport if it meant the body had extra gold greeblies.

Worse Case Scenario:

Lewa's mask in gold, all white body with gold chest piece and shoulder armor only. Costs $20 because of lame air sled (not unlike Toa Ignika).

Either way, a possible version of someone who kinda got the shaft toy-wise last time...and come to think of it, story wise. I mean, he has got to be feeling like the guy that always gets picked last. Hhe just hangs around Metru Nui with Dume.

He'll have a launcher of course. Probably what Gali, Onua and Tahu have.

Perhaps it will be connected to his "transport" as lesovikk did?
