Tyranide Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Strange. Tahu here looks even better than on any other pictures... Quote
hewkii9 Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Frak...if it weren't for the too-thin thighs and upper arms, silly blaster and out of character weapon, odd chest rockets, out of character and rather grunt-looking mask, and reverse-hollow-blue-pin-showing chest, I might want to buy Tahu. Krika looks genuinely nice though, but too small. Quote
Icesaber Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 I want Onua more and more for some reason. His armor can replace the Tridax launchers, the battering ram thing looks interesting, and I want his mask for a Miserix revamp. But those three things don't justify a $13 price tag. Maybe five. But I absolutely want Krika and Bitil right now. Gorast too, but not as much. Quote
Zarkan Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 But I absolutely want Krika and Bitil right now. Gorast too, but not as much. Same here! I may just break down and buy both of them eventually, even with the increased price tag. Probably though, I'll just wait until they are reduced in price. Quote
Spartan_01 Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 (edited) Damn. Tahu looks awesome on that cover. Same to Krika. Sweet. Edited May 25, 2008 by Spartan_01 Quote
marky Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 that picture of tahu isgreat and I have a question is there a posibiloty of new matoran as the new nuvas (tahu gali and onua) have the attacthment thing on their backs- so do the new makutas Thx in advance Oh and I did not see this posted anywhere but apparently mazeka is matoran + vehicle like vultraz Quote
Pigbrick Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 that picture of tahu isgreat and I have a questionis there a posibiloty of new matoran as the new nuvas (tahu gali and onua) have the attacthment thing on their backs- so do the new makutas There won't be any new Matoran for the new bunch of Toa. On the back of the packaging for the Toa sets they show that they can still have Matoran attach to them but it shows the old Matoran actually on their backs. Quote
Tyranide Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 does anyone here have the code for kingdom? SCL411 is the code. Quote
Pencoin Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 thanks i take it dark mirror never happened then Quote
Icesaber Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 SCL411 is the code. Hey, is the story up? If so, could you take screenshots of the story so I can read it in .png format? For some reason, pdf won't load on my comp. Quote
Tyranide Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 thanksi take it dark mirror never happened then That's just another alternate dimension. THIRD for Takanuva. Funny... Hey, is the story up? If so, could you take screenshots of the story so I can read it in .png format? For some reason, pdf won't load on my comp. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Tyranide...ika/kingdom.doc I think that DOC file would be better, yup? Quote
Zarkan Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Thanks for the file, Tyranide! Now I'm off to read it. Quote
Tyranide Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Thanks for the file, Tyranide! Now I'm off to read it. Oh, yeah, I think many people will ask who's Helryx. I've got this info from book owner)) Helryx is the Very First Toa and the Order of Mata Nui leader. I actually liked this story. There was no action, and that's good for me. And this new future is very... strange and some parts of text can (possibly, just possibly!) prove that "Matoran Universe is Mata Nui's body" theory. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 It's one too many x's for me but I guess it's alright. Doesn't really sound very ancient or anything though. Quote
Zee toa of sonics Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Wow I wonder how the kingdom will be concluded. -zee :skull: Quote
hewkii9 Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I'm guessing Matoran of Iron, Fe being Iron's periodic table symbol and Roodaka mentioning iron supports right after Fe-Matoran. Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Oh great. Sounds like another excuse to just load up the sets with more of that damn silver. Unrelated note- You know, I really hate the packaging images of the stuff currently on the shelves. When the Barraki were out, I could look at the packages and know EXACTLY what colors were included in the sets. But you have like Hydraxon and a few of the Phantoka who I'm sitting there trying to discern what parts are black, what parts are silver, what parts are gun metal, whether parts are red or dark red... ...and this is while studying sets that are right there in my hands! I actually put Hydraxon back on the shelf and left... all because I couldn't remember what colors were shown in the fan images I saw online! Pity. I really hope they fix this PROBLEM in the next wave(s). I want to buy more Bionicle sets, but not when they're being all fruity with the CGI and airbrushing to the point I'm not sure if the parts inside are the ones I'm looking to moc with. Quote
Spirit of the Air Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Nice story. I don't have BL10 yet, so this was a nice surprise. Quote

I know what you mean! From the box, Hydraxon looks gunmetal, which the actual set doesn't have any except his fingers. And it looks like that Tahu and Gali Mistika will look like they have Mata colors on their boxes, while in reality they have Metru versions :(. Fortunately, it looks like at least Axalara and Rockoh will have the colors as advertised on their boxes (Mata red! and Metru green). On another unrelated note, Umbra and Hewkii Mahri are some of the most disappointing sets I have seen. Edited May 27, 2008 by Icesaber Quote
