Posted September 29, 20159 yr Hi, at the Mad History Contest on ImperiumDerSteine.de the entries had to represent a historical scene with some little changes. So here is my MOC for the first round - I hope you like it :) Best Vaionaut PS: Sadly the sticker for the US flag exists only for one side of the flag. PPS: Wasn't shure where to post this (historic or scifi), but in my opinion it fits better here... Edited September 29, 20159 yr by Vaionaut
September 29, 20159 yr Given that we did actually go to the moon and there were no tusken raiders I think sci fi is the perfect place for this moc! Though the proportions of the LEM aren't quite true to reality the overall look is superb. Awesome work!
September 29, 20159 yr Good job. There are those who believe it was a government film production. Those Tuskens look like they entered the wrong film set. Director won't be happy with that.
September 30, 20159 yr Author Tank you all! Those Tuskens look like they entered the wrong film set. Director won't be happy with that. Yep, they were confused with the ground and thought this should be Tatooine... But you actually can't see so much with these masks on. Let's hope for them the director is a bit understanding.
October 1, 20159 yr Great details, and that white helmet/backpack makes a surprisingly good combination.
October 1, 20159 yr Its amazing .wish i was that good at making things based off of real life tusken 1:hey this dosnt look like the right set to me tusken 3:who cares (ps tusken raiders cant count) reminds me of the story where shatner aka kirkttells that he walked in on the moon landing set when looking for his communicator prop he wanted to take
October 13, 20159 yr People on the Moon? Ah, definitely Sci-Fi...no doubt about it at all, wisely chosen forum! Besides: very good scenery indeed - I like how you have managed all that camera studio setup stuff feel vs. actual lunar modul - good job. On the other hand: the only thing I would suggest to change would be removing of those stars from the bg as we are told there are none visible there...
October 13, 20159 yr On the other hand: the only thing I would suggest to change would be removing of those stars from the bg as we are told there are none visible there... You *can* see the stars from the moon. They only don't show in photographs. It's basically broad daylight on the moon, which means short exposure times, too short to capture the light of the stars.
