Smashing the large chest open, you discover a few items within.

- An old antique ship's lantern

- A small leather sack of gold dubloons

- A page torn out of a book that has a picture of the Creature from the Black Lagoon

Of noticeable interest, there is about a half inch of water in the bottom of the smashed chest?

I'll smash this skull lamp open to see if there's anything inside it. Columbo maybe you can check out that dubloon collection and see if anything is missing.

Nothing of interest in the skull lamp. Appears that the gold dubloon collection on the wall is complete. - no missing coins.

The storm is rough! Water is pooring over the deck. In the distance, the Minnow looks like it is sinking.

Mechanic Jack Tupp runs over. He yells, "The ship is taking on water! The Minnow must have hit it in the storm. This doesn't look good! :'-( Scotty, I need some strong hands. Please... Mike, Manny, Bennie, please come now!"

Scotty states, "Captain, you might want to go to the Steering Room! You need to lock down the bulk heads, NOW! I'll go with Jack and the others".

Wha...*sniff*....what will we do now? All of the important logs and diving gear were on the Minnow, not to mention a couple of our personal belongings. I only have this one log here, and it's wet, useless. *Chucks it into the water* I guess there's no point in continuing our last mission for the treasure, as we have no boat an...any longer. So, we shall just try and survive this, it's our only option.

Actually I am not conviced we will make it though the storm with that tied to our side. It's going to move up and down too much and grind hulls together. What is the hull made of anyway? In storms like this it is often safer to let go than have two ships tied together.
