Scotty, Jack, Mike, Manny, and Bennie are in the the starboard stem bulkhead as water repidly poors into the vessel. Mike Manny and Bennie are holding a steel plate against the jagged tear in the ship's side as Scotty and Jack attempt to weld it closed. The water is about at knees length and quickly getting deeper.

The Captain, Gene, Stan, Skipper, Diver Dan, and Pete have rushed to the Steering Room where the Captain is attempting to lock down the bulk head doors. "There seems to be some sort of short in the electronic emergency switch", the Captain says, "I don't know what to do"! Gene advises, "There should be a manual override switch in the mechanical/utility access room, but to reach it, someone has to go above deck and risk the storm". :'-(

I'll go! It's a captain's job to risk his life for that of his crew. There are brave men working to save us in the loud machiney make boat movey room. I must do my best to help them!! :'-) Captain Away!!

It's best you have some help. I'll go with you.

Before we go, if we get split up, I want you to be careful. Everything we found in Mr. Mason's cabin is disconcerting. If that piece of paper with the d-7 on it does have something to do with the lock combo, he'll be looking for the other half which I believe you still have.

If you see the creature, don't be afraid, I believe it's just our First Mate trying to scare everyone away from the cargo.

Dan, I think Mr. Mason may have killed your brother. Stinky was young and impressionable and maybe Frank was able to influence him into some wrongdoings. I don't know exactly what, but I have a feeling you should be extra careful too. Keep your knife on you.

Okay Skipper, let's go!

Yes, of course I'll be careful. That piece of paper I had was not important, I threw it overboard. Let's go.

I hope it means something when I say I trust you now. Sorry I was so harsh, I have a duty to protect my crew.

Let's go laugh in death's face!! >:-(

Alright, uhm, it's pretty bad out here, you might wanna put a lifevest on.

The Captain and the Skipper exit the steering room. The storm is thrashing the Sea Ghost about on the open sea. Water poors down with gale-like winds against the ship. Lights from the Minnow can still be seen in the distance.

Scotty and his group continue to weld the steel panel against the wall. Water is filling the ship rapidly! "Why hasn't the Captain closed the bulk head doors", Scotty yells!

Not to mention, why aren't we carrying wooden shoring? Everyone in the Navy knows that wood is better for shoring than metal because it moves with the ship and will achieve a more watertight seal. Welding plates to seal hull breaches is virtually impossible. What we were taught was get a matress and hold it on the side with wooden shoring. I think we should abandon this compartment and close the hatch before we lose the ship! *sing*

My ship is or isn't sunken? I could've sworn it sunk, maybe if I go get it...errr.

Where is the room by the way.....hold on! A wave is coming.

(OOps!)

Oh no! A wave!

*KerSploosh*

She's takin' on too much water! We won't last in much more of this madness!

Okay Skipper! We need to locate the mechanical/utility access room! The rain is falling so hard, I can barely see anything. Stay close to me...

And from what I can tell, your ship is surviving the swells!

I think it's here!

*Opens door*

Come on!

Scotty, I figure you are the one in charge what with the captain out... Is there any thing I can help with?

Bring me mattresses and pillows; or failing that anything bulky and flat like a book case. We can then try to wedge it onto the bulkhead with anything handy.

EDIT: Perhaps I was talking to Bennie.... anyone bring me somthing before the ship goes down!

Where's the manual over ride switch? Uh, Captain, why don't you look for it. Be careful, don't wanna get shocked.

Wait, is it possible somebody stole my boat? If it's surviving out there, maybe somebody is making it survive! Maybe your firstmate!

I was just thinking the same thing! If that is Mr. Mason in your boat, he must've sabotaged the Sea Ghost with one of Otto's antique grenades!! >:-(

I can't see a thing in here. How are we supposed to find that switch? :'-(

*Bump* OW!

Ugh, oh, here it is. Shall we pull it?

Yes, the crew is drowning down there! Pull it! Pull it! 8-

*Grinding sound*

Hrrrrrk.....engh.

It's down, let's go back and get your crew out of there.

I think it would be best if we got out of this room.

The Captain and the Skipper successfully pull the manual override switch. "This won't trap them inside, will it Captain"? The Skipper asks. The Captain answers, "No, there's another hatch in the stem that they can climb out of. This ship may be old, but someone thought of this stuff when they bolted it together. I just hope this switch works. Now let's get back inside, before this storm knocks us overboard".

"But wait, what is this on the ground"? The Skipper asks as he picks up a small leather bound book from the ground. "Hold it tight, we'll check it out back in the Steering Room. Now let's go", the Captain yells.

Water continues to flood the ship! The bulkhead doors have not yet closed. Scotty is desperately welding as the water rushes in. "The stabilizing pumps will activate once the bulkhead doors close", Jack advises.

The lights begin to flicker as the water starts to flood the Engineering Room! "Push the G-D@%& switch already Captain!", Scotty yells *sing* .

- Is the Minnow still floating, or has it been lost to the sea?

- Where has Frank Mason gone? And where are the other members of the crew?

You know Columbo-If you survive this you should look into a career in voice over. You have a rich haunting tone to your voice. You could probably make a fortune! *sweet*

blub hub glub bloop

I'm sure the doors will kick in in just a moment, sometimes they take a minute or two to work...
