I read somewhere that the series would contain a mix of classic and newer Disney characters, as well as some Pixar characters. I highly doubt that properties like Marvel/Star Wars/Muppets will be included, so here is my wishlist/guesslist for the new series:

Not very sure if my prediction works. I would follow these rules:

1) No characters that would better fit in different types of figures (animal figures, large action figures... etc).

2) No characters that belong to Disney Princess range, excluding Disney Villains.

3) No characters that appear in a recent movie franchise or have a chance to return in a future sequel so that LEGO could make them in regular sets. (The Incredibles, Toy Story gang... etc.

I know I'm totally dreaming about the 2x2 tile Le Journal De Mickey because I was just looking for the english name of this weekly comics magazine and just figured out it exists only here in France with Hachette, the magazine publisher :/ (so no 2x2 tile)

I always known this comics magazine, it is so former (first issue in 1934) that I though it was known world-wide... When I was a kid, my fav part (like a lot of kids) was the page Enigma : Goofy & Mickey had to solve an enigma or an investigation in one page. You can see the english or french page on wiki (to see Disney characters appearing in the comics magazine , better the french page because the english one only shows Mickey & Donald)

We also have in here other comics magazines like Picsou Magazine (first issue in 1972, Picsou is the french name of Scrooge McDuck, you can translate Picsou by Monissief (Money Thief), Super Picsou Géant (first issue in 1977) or Mickey Parade (first issue in 1966).

I actually do know where you are talking about, here in the Netherlands we have the dutch version, Donald Duck weekblad, around ones a month we get this one page comic, which is more of an enigma. Mickey appears in it, sometimes with Goofy and O'Hara and then you have to find out who is the criminal by following clues that are giving throughout the comic (like a false alibi or something) it's really fun. I also thought the comics where know all across the world, but it's just here in Europe. I feel bad for the Americans, they are so much fun.

Since this is a wishlist thread, rather than a prediction one, you needn't feel constrained by what we're known to be getting or even the number of figures in the series. If you'd like to see an entire series made up of over a hundred different background extras from The Love Bug and nobody else, go for it!

Well, I got Maleficent and Ursula right, but I'm only pleased with the latter.

Okay here is my Disney wishlist,

1) Ariel with flounder (not a new addition but he is kinda essential) and maybe a silver fork

2) Ursula with Flotsam and Jetsam preferably

3) Peter Pan with a Tinkabell accessory and maybe a short knife

4) Captain James Hook with a golden rapier

5) Robin Hood with a moulded head, but preferably the hat could be detached, and a bow as an accessory

6) Alice with a "drink me" potion in a bottle, printed or even better a toadstool and the Cheshire cat

7) Aladdin with Abu, both with Fezes

8) Genie with lamp

9) Snow White with an apple, would be cool if it were redesigned to have a bite taken out of it

10) Evil Queen (Maleficent) holding the box for Snow White's heart and wearing a two piece cape

11) Cinderella in her ballgown with a glass slipper accessory, or much more unlikely but pre ball with two bluebirds

12) Cinderella's Fairy Godmother with a pumpkin and a wand

13) Beauty with Mrs Pots and Chip accessories

14) Beast with the satire legs (if they work in this way) and a moulded head and a tail... then maybe with Lumiere and Cogsworth too...

15) Mickey well because its Disney and I'll go with a Pluto accessory seeing as its popular, but I would prefer the Magician's apprentice so I would like to see detachable headpiece option so it can be reused in another series and for Minnie with bow

16) Minnie same headpiece a Mickey but with a hair bow.

I would never expect to see this line up all in one series since its very focused on old-school disney, but I would be happy if these came out over a couple of series with some more modern ones thrown in... And then I would also like to see Jasmine and Jafar, Maid Marian and probably loads more...

There are some Disney favourites that I don't expect to see or actually want, Lady and the Tramp or the Rescuers etc anything that does not work as a minifigure basically.

Not bad for a wishlist where I expressed no pixar interest. Seems like the princesses are not going to feature that much so I might drop Cindy from my series 2 lineup, would still like her though.

And I can't believe I didn't put the Queen of Hearts on my old list, I don't particularly like the disney depiction of her but she's one on my favourite characters. So she's on my new wishist, along with Snowhite, a dwarf (any one of the seven), Cruella and Pocahontas

I second the motion. The next series should have Snow White, ideally both forms of the Evil Queen, but the Old Hag is my choice, and a dwarf.
