A lego store manager told me that there is a possibility of a Disney series next year. He said that there are rumors going around about it but he doesn't know if its true or not so take this with a grain of salt.

One of the things I didn't like about the Disney CMF series is that they didn't add any new minifig accessories. We got plenty of heads and 2 printed tiles, but no new accessories. I'd be happy if they just added some new accessories.

This was the closest thing I could find that would actually pertain to speculation of the next wave. But I came across these. Now I don't know about everyone else, but I'm really hoping that these are based on designs that they have in the works.

Who knows when (if ever) we may see the second Disney CMS, as the future seems pretty booked for the Collectable Minifigure line as far as we can tell. Nonetheless, I thought I should revive this discussion for the mean time, since it seems like it will be awhile until then if a second series is presumably down the road.

So, here's my wishlist! :classic:

  1. The Rocketeer, from the 1991 film.
  2. Tron and Sark, from the original 1982 movie.
  3. Woody, Bo Peep, and Jessie from the Toy Story franchise.
  4. Snow White and the Evil Queen/Witch, from the 1937 namesake classic.
  5. Hiro Hamada and Baymax from 2014's Big Hero 6.
  6. Hercules and Hades, from his namesake animated movie.
  7. Tarzan and Jane Porter, from the 1999 movie of the same name.
  8. Milo Thatch and Princess Kida (a.k.a. Kidagakash Nedakh), from 2001's Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
  9. Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip, from 1959's Sleeping Beauty.
  10. 1950's Mr. Incredible, 1950's Elastigirl, and Buddy (a.k.a. Incrediboy) from Pixar's The Incredibles.
  11. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider (a.k.a Eugene Fitzherbert), from 2010's Tangled.
  12. Ralph and Fix-It Felix, from 2012's Wreck-It Ralph.
  13. Merida, from Pixar's Brave.
  14. Cruella DeVil from 101 Dalmatians.

Where did you find them?

I went digging in google or flickr. I don't remember. I believe it's from a LEGO Store in Shanghai.

About the drawings, they are fantastic as usual

But I have to say some sidekicks are included as accessories, so the series would be more expensive than Series 1 as it would include more than 18 official Disney characters, which means more license fees to pay.

Actually, I think that's the reason none of the characters from Series 1 included a sidekick as accessory, which was particularly notorious with Ariel, Aladdin and Mickey itself

Thanks dude! :sweet:

You're welcome!

By the way, do you feel that 2019 really could make room for a second Disney CMS? I mentioned this in a comment on your video, but I think that year is pretty much booked. With two cinematic movies slatted for then, they presumably will both receive CMSs; and with only one other slot available for that year, it just has to go to Series 19, as we haven't yet seen a single year without a non-licensed series.

Thanks! And you got a good point there. I didn't even think of that :look:

I think so. I don't believe Billion Brick Race will come out in 2019. They lost the director, and there hasn't been much heard from it. So I'm guessing, LEGO Movie 2 in January, Disney 2 in May, and then Series 19 in August/September.
