Dornbi Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I retake what I said. The 4.3.9 update fixed the problem! For it to take effect, I had to: 1. Quit LDD 2. Remove the old preferences, e.g. from a Terminal: rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/LEGO\ Company/LEGO\ Digital\ Designer 3. Start LDD 4. Then "Outlines on bricks" and "Advanced shading" become available. 5. I had to restart LDD for the changes to take effect. But now it works! YAY! My computer: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) El Capitan 10.11.3 This forces the app to reinstall bricks, palettes, etc. Quote
tiammath Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) Worked for me. Thanks configuration : MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) OS X El Capitan version 10.11.3 Edited March 14, 2016 by tiammath Quote

Graysmith Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Ooh nice. I'll finally get around to updating to El Capitan then, can't live without the new bricks! Quote
PlasticWin Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Hello. I am using a PC and still cannot get the "outlines on bricks" to work. I have also just updated to this latest version... Any tips to fix this? Quote
Calabar Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 @PlasticWin If you are using a PC (not a MAC), this is not the right tipic where to ask. Anyway, you need a DirectX 10 capable video card in order to enable outline feature. If your video card don't support al least DirectX 10 (you need Shader Model 4), that's the problem. Otherwise check your OpenGL driver. Quote
Malou Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 (edited) FYI, I installed on my MacBook Air the public beta of MacOs Sierra and LDD doesn't start anymore. Crash before the icon can appear in the dock. Hoping it will be fixed before Sierra is released to the public Edited July 20, 2016 by Malou Quote
cfmartinez Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I had the same problem with macOS Sierra Public Beta 3. I just finished updating to Public Beta 4 and LDD now works. Quote
Malou Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Yup! It does work with the new Seria update! Quote
