September 30, 200717 yr Author Here are a few more pics from yesterday. I will be working on it again as soon as I finish this post. Bottom of the engines. Bottom Engine plate attached. This plates section is held on by 4 1x1 plates with vertical clips. These are hidden by the white plate you see in the pic. These plate help fill in the main dish of the ship. Another shot of the filler plates. Plates attached. More filler plates attached. More filler plates. More filler plates, another view of them anyways. More filler plates attached. This piece streching from the cockpit of the frame of ship is what the tunnels plates ride on. They aren't held on by pins or axels, They just sit on the smooth tiles of this piece. Another shot of it. Interior shot of the cockpit. Gotta put some seats in there!!! Thats is a must. Not sure where the pic went of this section by it self. But, here it is attached. More in a few hours, Jamie Edited September 30, 200717 yr by jamie75

October 1, 200717 yr Is it bad when my left over pieces doesn't match your left over pieces?LOL! So can you take a pic and show us your leftovers? Thanks for the review Jamie! Really want to start build mine right away!! I
October 1, 200717 yr Pretty sure the 1x6 is just something I missed on the way. Doesn't look obvious from the outside so I can stay in my left over pieces pile.
October 1, 200717 yr Seeing as you both have alot different parts left over it is pretty obvious that it is most likely things you missed. The best set instructions are the ones that have the parts list for each page, that makes it alot harder to miss things out. I have lot count of the number of times i have had to go back and find parts missed out or wrong colour parts put in :-D .
October 1, 200717 yr Found out where my 1x6 plate went, which means everything I have left over jamie75 also has.
October 1, 200717 yr Still can't work out why lego would include an extra fig head *wacko* Just dosen't seem right to me. Nope but its always good to have an extra fleshie smiley ;-) Maybe its because they are now accustomed because of the Rep Cruiser X-D so to be safe they include an extra one :-P Found out where my 1x6 plate went, which means everything I have left over jamie75 also has. I hope it not problematic for you !! And that part was not in the beginning of the build ;-) *yoda*
October 1, 200717 yr Author I read on FBTB that some had an extra bag of pieces. I think that is what happened with mine aswell. I didn't count the bags. But, there seems to be an awful lot of pieces there. I got 71 bags instead of 70. Or whatever the number was. I think it was 70. Jamie
October 1, 200717 yr Im about 80% complete on mine, so far i only have 2 gripes, and thats about the quality assurance of the lego products The first 2 pics shows a plate that was totaly unusable outside the bag, i have another one in this set to which looked like it has been morphed from 2 peices into 1 (again totally unusable) And in this pic, a light bley brick on the top, and supposdly 2 identical dark bley bricks of the same kind in the front of the picture, as you can see, not looking the exact same dark bley colour >:-) (It looks like sum1 has dipped it in acid to try get the colour out of it!) Im goona contact lego and try get sum replacements tho, i paid enought money for this set Other than that im enjoying the build :)
October 1, 200717 yr Ooh, nasty. That plate looks like it's been chewed by a dog. Hope you get replacements. Dr. S.
