super low number, an extra bag of parts. what more could you ask for eh? ;-)

i dunno. i think lego qc is sleeping at the wheel too. i bought a 7094 king's castle siege recently and i had a duplicate bag but was missing another. so i have 2 extra kite shields, 2 extra round shields, a bunch of extra heads, an extra silver visor but missing skeleton arms and legs, bow and arrows and a few other stuff.

i'm only at the 13% mark (page 40), so i'll know if i have qc issue with the MF much later on. :-P

has anyone thought about the luke skywalker MF? correct me if i'm wrong - it seems it is the only unique mf here. so it must go for like $200 or something? :-D

Hey everyone,

I'm late to the party in posting but I've been reading for months. I just finished my UCS Falcon yesterday evening and can't stop staring at it. #800! And I also got a heap of extra pieces. I went through the manual one page at a time and confirmed everything and still had a bag of triangle pieces left over. I was actually short a few bricks myself and had to use parts from my ISD to fill it in. Nothing critical but certainly a first for me from Lego. Also the smiley is listed in the parts list. Weird huh?

That thing is HUGE! Only now I realise the true dimensions of this monster! I have the oldest Millennium Falcon (in the bottom right corner of the last photograph) and at the time I thought it was a really big set, and it still is....

Thanks for these comparing pictures.

Pretty sure the 1x6 is just something I missed on the way. Doesn't look obvious from the outside so I can stay in my left over pieces pile.

i have the same left over as yours except i have a full unopened bag of 2x4 sloped plates seen in jamie's leftover photo.

it's weird that the 2 2x2 dark bley tiles are left overs. same with that half pin stick.

i was also missing a dark bley cheese piece. i was pretty sure i was very careful every step of the way. just hope i haven't threw it away with those bags. :-P oh well, not a major missing part though.

finally i'm done, so i can go back to sleep. zzzzzzzzzz

I think you mistook a pin for a rubber tube, that's wat I had left over at least.... Did you guys notice that on the two final chapters we had to use 8x1 bars, but the only bars I had left were two 10x1's?

Unfortunately I had no bag of bley wings left over... guess this is a USA 'problem'.

Never imagined this ship would turn out to be so detailed and heavy! 8-

as for the 8x1, i think you may have also missed a step. :-P only piece i was missing was a 1x1 cheese piece.

I mean I had to use the 10x1's where the instructions (page 293 and 298) said it supposed to be 8x1's, so it weren't exactly leftovers..

Good luck on your find for the tube!

Size does matter!!

Atleast when comparing the 3 Falcons side-by-side-by-side.

What really shocked me was that 10179 in about the same size as the ISD. I knew it was big, but, I thought the ISD would still bigger.

They are actully about the same size. Give or take an inch!

I am really dying to see if someone pulls of an interior of any kind!
