efferman Posted March 23, 2017 Author Posted March 23, 2017 (edited) hm, the unpleasant spokes are looking a bit like Trilex rims which are often used on old us trucks Edited March 23, 2017 by efferman typo Quote

It was just a guess... Edited March 23, 2017 by I_Igor Quote
efferman Posted March 23, 2017 Author Posted March 23, 2017 (edited) Tastes are different and to add this piece is no problem. by the way. What do you think about this bodywork? Edited March 23, 2017 by efferman Quote

When you compare this image and concentrate on mudguards I say that shape is very good. Whole cab is very smooth 17 hours ago, efferman said: hm, the unpleasant spokes are looking a bit like Trilex rims which are often used on old us trucks In 70s this was mostly common design or fully chrome wheels which were much more expensive, so I doubt that fire departments were spending money on shiny wheels. Functionality was important and cost control of course... Quote

What do you think about this bodywork? ...just one question, do you have a blueprint ore something with two mudguards an front wheels? All I can find on Internet are like this; just one long mudguard for both wheels (something like rear mudguard on Arocs) at the front and not two one Quote
efferman Posted March 24, 2017 Author Posted March 24, 2017 Igor, Single mudguards are looking better in my eyes. btw, how is the look? Quote

If you like single mudguards then I see no problem, just did not find such models on Internet (Ok I did not look for more that half an hour or something like that) Quote
Ramacco Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 I like the studfull cab a lot more that the studless. Blends in perfectly with the red outtriggers. Beautiful work!! Quote
Ivan_M Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 This is so awesome, your build inspired me in a lot of ways, I like the rear axle with suspension most and used that design in my current moc. I don't have enough parts for your build atm but I will surely build it in future. Quote
