Kiwi_Builder Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Looks good, I think that removing the Aerodyne section on the top of the cab would be best because as everyone says, it's too high and you wouldn't have an aerodyne cab wuth a crane because it sticks up to where the boom should be resting. efferman Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) Nicee Effe... Do you want to use 2 servos? Max... Not sure, the second servo is actually a shortcut to test the turning circle. And a driving test some minutes ago shows that this was a good idea. The turning circle is good, but the traction isreally bad, so i need suspension to hold all driven tires on ground Edited October 12, 2015 by efferman Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Great and compact concept and yet so effective!!! Quote
Bricksonwheels Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Going strong. The flatroof is indeed better. Will follow this. Quote
TheNextLegoDesinger Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 you're doing great i really like it keep on going, you'll probrally get my vote Quote

Twelvebears Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Loving the outrigger design, looks really robust and actually capable of giving real stability. I could see the same approach scaling up to a larger model very nicely. Quote
Milan Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Very nicely finished. Looking forward to see it with cab. Quote
TheItalianBrick Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Milan as you can see small mocs are nicer than huge ones  Effe go on! You get my 10 points this time!!!! Quote
agrof Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Nice compact outrigger + suspension solution, for me looks like essence of Technic. Love it! Quote
Kiwi_Builder Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Is that rear axle liftable as well or is it just off the ground for some unexplained reason? Quote
efferman Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) Thanks guys Kiwi, it is simply off the ground because to less weight on the chassis, with the crane on the back it should have a good ground contact. MaxSupercars Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Hmm the truck looks really good but is the Kenworth with X-outridgers based on real mobile crane? I would mount this X-outridgers on multiaxle mobile vehicle... 6-8 axles... Max... Quote

Milan Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Looks beautiful. Waiting for a superstructure! Quote
Zerobricks Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 This is getting really awesome! The color combination is nice, with the white lines and its nice to see a smaller, yet fully functional model. Quote
efferman Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 thanks guys! The first version of the back is done Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Very well done so far. You manage to squeeze it all in... :-) Quote
muffinbrick Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 This one is one of the favourites, for sure. I cant wait for superstructure! Quote
Erik Leppen Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Not sure about the studded rear end. For the rest, it looks very nice. I like how it's not overly big. Curious to what you will to with the boom and superstructure. Quote
efferman Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 well, something unusual with the new outrigger parts and a winch to lift the boom p.s. this is only a test to search for the mounting points Quote
