BrickFit26 Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Ninjago did the same in the summer wave, and now there's two per week. I guess the idea is that it's more fun to watch in a row, and kids can get content quicker to push set sales and excitement? Not too sure myself, but I like it. Shame CN isn't airing any NK episodes this week as they were canceled and pushed back to a later date. (Not this month) I think you're right. Seems like a strategy to push set sales, and for the kids entertainment instead of waiting another week to see what happens. Sucks that the episodes now got pushed back to a later date. Cartoon Network does that a lot these days, with a lot of their shows (Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Ninjago, etc). To be honest I don't know when they started doing this or why, but I guess they decided it gets them higher ratings. A bit frustrated that Cartoon Network had listed new Nexo Knights episodes this week on their schedule, then decided to air Clarence instead without updating the cable listings. Now I'm going to have to go and delete all the recordings on my DVR that are marked as LEGO Nexo Knights but are actually Clarence. I think higher ratings is definitely a reason that they had them airing everyday too. I also have to go back to my dir recordings and delete the clarence episodes. Quote
Vector Prime Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Meanwhile iTunes has been releasing the new episodes (6-10) this week. Mostly the typical filler stuff, but the series is getting better as it goes on. Quote

DuckBricks Posted January 27, 2016 Author Posted January 27, 2016 New mini episode! Guess this is the last one...? Quote
DraikNova Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Does anyone know when the next episode (#6, the Golden Castle) will be aired? Quote
alentjes Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 In other news, the Legoland ad at the back of the set instructions states that a 4D Nexo Knights film will be unveiled there this summer. That's the second 4D film coming out there this year! Good news, indeed. And I am sure it will kick some serious Nexo 4D butt! Quote
DraikNova Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Do you think there'll be an in-show explanation for the villain ultimates? Maybe the Book of Monsters ends up eating the documentation for the knights' ultimate equipment? Quote
Lyichir Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Do you think there'll be an in-show explanation for the villain ultimates? Maybe the Book of Monsters ends up eating the documentation for the knights' ultimate equipment? The Nexo Knights app somewhat explains them, though it's unclear whether the show canon will feature the same explanation. In the app, the rocky shields are "shields of absorption" which allegedly have the ability to steal the knights' powers. This hasn't actually taken place in the parts of the app that are currently available, but is presumably how the villains can access Nexo Powers considering that the knights themselves download the powers directly from Merlok. Takanuinuva Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Any news if the next episodes have release dates? Quote
DraikNova Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Still haven't found anything about that, but the app does have some videos, which have an unfortunate tendency to stop randomly but do show an in-show Bloblin and a lot of backstory. Quote
gamejutzu Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 It looks like they don't use Nexo powers every single episode... Good. The voice acting in this show seems more natural than NInjago. I also noticed that with Chima. The show also appears to be quite "chill", which is what a lot of people like to watch sometimes. One thing that disappoints me is that there are only volcano-esque monsters in this show. The monster types will likely change with the seasons, but I would have liked to see more elemental variety. When I saw the Book of Chaos, I immediately thought of how cool ice monsters would be. why didn't Jestro see his fears when he was hit with the whip? Is he slightly resistant to fears (as in, only one whip won't effect him)? Quote
Robert8 Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Alx's sister appears in an episode and her name is Axlina LOL Quote

DraikNova Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Episode 6 hasn't aired officially, as far as I can tell. It was released on itunes, but it can't be found anywhere else it seems. Apparently the new episodes will air in March. Quote
MasterofElements Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 (edited) I'm not sure if anyone else has seen them, but I recently watched episodes 6-10 on Itunes. I have to admit, the episodes get better and better. But, I'm not sure if episode 10 is the season finale. The episode is epic and seems like a finale to me. They even end it like a finale ends a season. But, I heard there were 20 episodes in Season 1. It's weird. Also, I'm new and have no idea on how to do spoiler tags. So for now, don't scroll down if you don't want any summer set spoilers. I assume the summer sets are based off of Season 2 (or the second half of Season 1) because none of the sets appear in episodes 6-10. I guess we shall see. If Ninjago is anything to base it on, it usually has a ten episode season in March and another ten episode season around June... So 20 episodes per year, but only 10 per season. Not sure where you're hearing the 20 episode rumor - got a source please? Thanks. Quote

It was in the initial press event of Nexo Knights. Here's a link: http://www.tvinsider.com/article/45550/first-look-lego-nexo-knights-tv-series-and-minifigures/ Quote

They even end it like a finale ends a season. But, I heard there were 20 episodes in Season 1. Episode 10 is not the season finale as there is only a bit of resolution, and a good portion of the Summer sets haven't even shown up yet. The Black Knight Mech and Burnzie are the only things they've really shown so far. Chima did a really good job at hiding it's Summer sets in the past. However, it SERIOUSLY bit them in the butt, as only three episodes existed for six months, and, dare I say, was a primary reason the theme did as bad as it did. Ninjago, however, showed off it's entire first year's lineup in a matter of 40 minutes, so, you know... Quote
DraikNova Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Ooh, I didn't even know there were 20 episodes. I'm really loving this series, so I'd be very dissapointed if we would only see the monster generals in the episode where Jestro finds the corresponding book. Quote
DraikNova Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) Okay, sorry for the double post, but all of the episodes are available online in dutch, and, while I haven't bothered to listen to the sound, among other things, there are Power Miners rock monsters (the bigger kind) featured in the maze of episode 7. A very nice little shoutout. It's also nice how some minor background details from "Knights of the Realm" are actually used as plot points in the actual episodes. Really liking the way this series is going. Meanwhile, the defeat of the black knight is pretty much entirely a Monty Python joke. Edited February 27, 2016 by DraikNova Quote
JurrasicPiggy Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Hello all, for those of you searching for episodes 6-10, I know where they are! If you search Nexo Knights on tumblr, scroll down and you will find a post that says 'I will be posting the episodes here' and the guy has a picture of titanium zane. Sorry I can't provide a link right now as I am in a rush. Quote
