Just bought a set from ebay, not a bad price. $46NZD shipped. Loving the star peices and another kid with a spaceman shirt. Creepy giraffe... not so much, but he isnt likely to get built, or at least won't stay built for long.

Huh. The Brickfan is saying that it will most likely retail at $9.99 but is it possible this may be a birthday freebie like the birthday cake polybag Lego Stores would give out if you go to the store on your B-Day?

Hopefully it is sold in stores because this has some nice parts and it looks very cute. :classic:

Someone over at Brickset thought this was "creepy."

Gosh no, this is super cute! It's a doe eyed chocolate cupcake wishing someone a happy birthday. Does it get any cuter than that?

Someone also said it reminded them of Mr. Hankey....

Another jewel....

40226 - Birthday Buddy

*oh2*

He's adorable! I love him! :) Might be the cutest seasonal set yet!

Regular Mixels eyes might have worked, and I imagine that's what the set would've used if they hadn't already committed to printing a sticker sheet for the "Happy Birthday" flag. But these super sparkly eyes really up the ante in terms of cuteness!

I wonder if this will be a general LEGO set or a Toys 'R' Us exclusive set. The concept is fairly generic but the font and colors on the "Happy Birthday" flag feel very Toys 'R' Us (they're close to, but not exactly, the same as the colors used on the TRU logo).

Someone said it was a turd in pajamas hahahahaha

I think it's adorable! How do we get it! Maybe I'll get it when I head to the LEGO Store around my birthday.

I have to put this in my mixels collection! Hopefully they make other party inspired figures. Don't know why they went with sticker eyes instead of the mixel ones though.

That reminds me very much of a robotic boy in a very popular recent horror game series. It's the eyes, stripes, and cheeks. I guess I like it for that reason, but not because I think it's genuinely adorable.

When I was young, I was traumatized by a horror comic that had an Easter Bunny lure children into an underground lair where he proceeded to dip them in chocolate and eat them alive.

This thing gives me the same feeling, like it's going to horrifically punish everyone who has ever eaten a birthday cupcake. Brrrrrrrrr.

Hahahaha, man, I love all the divided opinions on this thing!

Personally, I just think it looks....funky. Not scary, not adorable. Maybe mildly cute. But mostly just weird.

Yay!

The packaging is pretty cool, liking the all white and that cool skull to the right...

But thats about it. The bat is okay and so are the pieces l, but that Vampire... as the comment before mine said, "nope."
