Amazing Bricks Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Where did you find that? It's been found a couple of days ago. It's honestly terrifying to look at. Quote
Robert8 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Source added ---- My god I'm speachless... It looks like something from the late 90's/early 2000's Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I guess it filled its goal to scare people. I mean.. it's not THAT bad. The bat is cool. Quote
Tech Artist Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 It's just weird. A odd attempt at Dracula. The teeth don't look like fangs. I'd expect those on a rabbit of this scale. Quote
Actor Builder Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I'd expect those on a rabbit of this scale. It is a rabbit. It's an Easter promotional. Don't judge goth rabbits. Quote
rodiziorobs Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 His Christmas wish list better have "nosehair trimmer" on it. Quote
parsom Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I like this vampire. He's different from previous seasonals, he has a lot of personality, and he is funny. Quote
Tech Artist Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 It is a rabbit. It's an Easter promotional. Don't judge goth rabbits. He is just missing his spike collar. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 MUCH better Easter set review from JANGBricks: Quote
jjava Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Pretty disappointed with the seasonal. Some images not showing but of all the ones I can view, not impressed at all. The ones from 2015 were way better. Quote
rob-ot5000 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Just picked up the Easter Chicken Suit Guy from one of my local TRUs (Buford, Georgia). They had plenty (30+), if you're in that area and interested. Quote
Actor Builder Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I've tried to figure it out, but I'm having trouble. Is the chicken box just a box with the chicken figure? How much does it cost? Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I've tried to figure it out, but I'm having trouble. Is the chicken box just a box with the chicken figure? How much does it cost? $4 and the set name should totally be called "Chicken Box." Quote
Actor Builder Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 $4 It's $5.99. Thanks. I'm no longer confused. Quote
8BrickMario Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 What an odd promotion. A rereleased figure that's an odd choice (wouldn't the Bunny Suit Guy be a better choice) and nothing else. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) Thanks. I'm no longer confused. Edited February 28, 2016 by Legocity2713 Quote
Actor Builder Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 ...and nothing else. What are you saying "nothing else"? The main appeal of this set is obviously the chicken box itself! Kids love playing with chicken boxes. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) It's $5.99, isn't it? You are right! Sorry for the confusion Actor Builder. The box is definitely the best part of the set, who needs the chicken guy minifigure anyway? Edited February 28, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
BlockLogo Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Those boxes are going to cost a whole lot of money on the aftermarket. There are so many people with boxless chicken suit figs out there that are gonna wanna complete their set. Quote
Robert8 Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I've seen people complaining in social media because LEGO is re-releasing the S9 Chicken Suit Guy They are saying that LEGO is being disrespectful with the people who paid $30 for it in the aftermarket Unbelievable.... Quote
BlockLogo Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 The LEGO aftermarket is out of hand. So many articles about LEGO investing the last couple of years have brought in too many amateurs trying to make a buck. While I'm very grateful for Bricklinkers parting out sets to sell bricks and stuff, I don't have much respect for resellers complaining about the value of their investment. Quote

Oh no, my minifigure is now worth less when it isn't my company and my product to begin with. Oh boo hoo. As Block said above, I am grateful there is a secondary market that Lego hasn't bothered shutting down. It's a great resource. However, I have no sympathy for any complaints and crying. TLG can do what they want and obviously have been doing it successfully for quite a long time. Plus, this gives people like me without a ton of money a chance to own a rare Minifigure(although not so rare anymore but whatever) without paying a ton of money(that's why I bought 2!).
