When they announced the DO last year did they announce the poly bag cart at the same time?

I don't think so. I'm sure it had been a while before hand because when I saw the poly bag information my first thought was that I could put it with the DO

No, not more. All that is already at Brickset and was posted earlier.

Yes sorry about that my posts were moved into this thread by the forum staff, in the thread I originally posted in there was no other info before it.

$10 more expensive than the DO for a yet smaller modular- when the DO was $10 more expensive and smaller as well. The trend is clear.

Actually it is £12 cheaper in the UK and the same price in Europe, so it doesn't seem that trend is the case everywhere. Seems to just be America and Canada (where it is $20 more)

I wonder what the accompanying polybag would be. Guess I'll have to purchase it from Shop@Home to get it

BB has 118 more bricks than DO. And it is certainly NOT smaller.

Looks like there isn't even a full wall between the bank and laundromat....

People were complaining about the DO that there was not enough space to reach with an adult hand into some rooms. This is the solution in the BB to be able to access the laundromat room.

It is growing on me, I'll buy it, but I doubt I'll feel the need to do so as soon as it is released, unless it is on special somewhere... Trying to work out what the price will be here in AU$, thinking about $250 - $280...

I don't remember the last time I was this excited over a set release. I like the style, the colours, parts selection, and I know I want it for sure (at least one, that is). There's also lots of intersting parts, like the sand green windows, the semi round windows, some new triangular tiles in the loby.

There is a full wall. The height is lower, but that's common with modular buildings, as it's hard to make it the same height because of the floor above. Also, access is much easier this way. And if the height is too much of a problem, it's easy to build it up.

I see when you wash your clothes there end up in the bank vault, as they always do hence you know now where those odd socks disappear to !

Note the bank manager is waving a letter, so perhaps a clue to the next one......but it's way too early right ?

Super! The set looks great, love all the detail and the tongue in cheek money laundering. Lots of nice building techniques it seems. VEr y much looking forward to this one!

I like it, but I don't love it. I probably would have sacrificed the laundromat to make the bank a bit grander.

I'm guessing it's there for story purposes, but the style of the laundromat clashes a little bit too much with the style of the bank for me.

I'm also a little disappointed that there isn't a third floor or any residential space, but that was probably expecting too much from a bank!

BTW, I think it's about time that TLG comes with a new clock design. There're countless examples of the same clock (and time) over and over and over...

Though you can position it in four different positions ?

But point noted it would be better with a different looking clock.

Like all of the other Modular Buildings, this one looks stunning. Lots of great building techniques. I don't have any of the other sets, though, so I'll probably not get this one either. The price is a bit too much for me to shell out at once on one set.

The use of Nexo Knights shields for floor pattering in the bank, while NPU, looks kind of weird to me though...

Ooooo! This is so nice. I'm really going to have to consider buying it. One of these building has to end up being my first Modular someday--an I hope it's this one.

I'll also have to snag DO then...so he can solve to crimes! The Camerawoman is the theif--shocking twist!

Of course, but that makes only four. A new one would give us at least 8 options. But the important thing it's not the time really, but the design. Or, at least, a colour change. This would have look better in black with gold printing, for example.

I agree, and also being say either 3 or 4 stud in diameter.

But that's drifting off course  though now that letter is the same letter that is in the wall safe/hiding place in the DO.......some wider story coming ?
