Darkie Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Okay. So, apparently I'm supposed to introduce myself. So, I live in Seattle. I attend University. I build with Lego. I shoud be writing an essay on British Parliament right now, but hey. Don't really want to. I snowboard, I draw. Watch movies, read books, listen to music. I travel an awful lot. I've driven (yes, driven) to Kansas City, MO; Casper, WY, Northern California...I've been to Chicago, IL. I travel to Canada about once a year, seeing as it's only a 2 hour drive. Been to Sydney and Coolangata, Australia. Going to London, England this summer, as well as some tiny town in Alaska. Oh yeah. I'm a girl. One of few, I'm told. I build castle, primarily. I'm a history geek. Go Egypt. (Hapshetsut is the man! Er--queen. Yeah.) So, there ya go. :-D Quote
The Middleman Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 WELCOME! Always great to have a new face in our ranks. :-D Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 11, 2005 Governor Posted April 11, 2005 Okay. So, apparently I'm supposed to introduce myself. No requirement for introductions whatsoever. My theory was with a little encouragement you'd actually go and do it. My theory appears to be correct. Quote
Jipay Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Ahhh historian geek ! I wander how many historian geeks this forum counts ! Not enough I'm sure ! I think you should travel more to different placed, you stay too focused on the US, this is not the better place to learn about the old continent. Even Indy traveled a lot to learn about old cultures :-D oh and I almost forgot the traditional : welcome here ! Quote
Darkie Posted April 11, 2005 Author Posted April 11, 2005 Jipay, it's really hard to leave the US without more financial backing. See, I qualify as a starving college student. I can drive anywhere in the US, but flying out of the country is a bit harder. No wax wings for me...I aim too high. Quote

Darkie Posted April 14, 2005 Author Posted April 14, 2005 Turned in that paper. Wasn't too bad, actually. Then we watched a cult film about a Launderette that I can't remember the title of. Mister Phes, you won't be scaring me away anytime soon. Don't assume I'm not here because I don't post. :) Quote
