January 20, 200817 yr We're too non-logical to have that here it would seem :-$ We have it in the states. Run a red light in Chicago, I dare you...
January 21, 200817 yr Instructions for 2230 In-flight Helicopter and Raft are up on the Lego website now - although oddly only the instructions for the raft are there. Still, it's nice to get a better look.

January 21, 200817 yr Thanks Chucky-Doodle! May I call you Chucky-Doodle? Yes you may, my good Hink. EDIT: More instructions! 5625 Police 4x4 5627 Dozer For those of you wondering what goes in between those two, it is speculated to be 5626 Coastguard Bike. -Chuck Edited January 21, 200817 yr by Chuck
January 21, 200817 yr Regarding 2230, that is only one half of the set of instruction booklets, hence the inventory on the bottom. The other half should hopefully show up soon! -Chuck
January 21, 200817 yr We have it in the states. Run a red light in Chicago, I dare you... I'd probably be dead if I did that in either case :-( I've never heard of this before though! In all my trips to Milwaukee and Madison even |-/ I had no doubt in california or new york, they would, but maybe here in Wisconsin were just not fancy smancy :-P Remindes me of a funny story though :-$ Once cruising through madiscon, there was just a cop with a speed gun and a walkie talkie sitting in a plastic lawnchair next to a busy curvy section of road in the city (one people would love to speed on.. hint..) And afew hundred feet down the road are three cop cars with flashing lights and three other cars pulled over :-$ Was just such an odd thing to do it seemed to me, but works! Ok, heavily off topic, I aplogize *sad*
January 21, 200817 yr There are so many new pics and instructions to be found in this thread. I think the first posting needs to be updated with dozens of pictures!
January 21, 200817 yr Seems like TLC are not taking too kindly to images of new sets being placed online, if this thread and the Agent's one are anything to go by.

January 21, 200817 yr Thank you very much for the instruction pics, madonlego and Chuck! 2230 will be a really nice set! I thought that the minifig on the raft would be a CG man but it seems that it is a "normal" minifig. It would be a pity if this set is only an airline promotional because I'd like to buy it, too and even for an affordable price! Like 2007, 2008 really seems to be a great year for City fans - especially for harbor fans! *y*
January 22, 200817 yr Since they appear in the 2008 Dutch catalog, I've re-posted the coast guard pics in the first post of this thread...
January 22, 200817 yr Since they appear in the 2008 Dutch catalog... ...and the Norwegian one, further justifying re-uploading them. Well, only 7726. But it's on page 34. TBE June. :-P BTW; Anybody else getting sets later than usual? I'm not thinking only City here, but I've noticed that the CITY cargo sets (april), tiny turbos (april), SpongeBob (june), Indiana Jones (may) and some other stuff arrives much later than the rest of the world. I'm fearing that we may not see Coast Guard up here in the north 'til august. :-/
January 23, 200817 yr The new Helicopter (with raft) instructionshttp://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildin...ons/4526180.pdf Steve Thanks! I have to catch up on all these instructions! X-D I particularly like how they've secured the tail of the helicopter in step 15 of the helicopter in the link above. Quite ingenious! *y* ~Peace

Quite ingenious! *y* ~Peace I love the technique aswell - however it's not new - I remember it being in this set aswell. :-$ Probably some other ones I don't know about or care to look up either :-P

January 23, 200817 yr Hmmm... I'm very interested in that lighthouse. I'll buy it, but it's going to need major MODs. >:-) First, put in a proper Fresnel lens. Next, make a proper tower. Hopefully, build a cliff for it to go on.... Will
January 23, 200817 yr Oh. Well that is a nice set. :-D And don't forget to add it to the first post. *sweet* ~Peace Thanks iamded! Here's another cool pic of the Coast Guard line: The more I see this line, the more I love it!

How can anyone deny the beauty of that lighthouse set! *wub* That set is a must for me, then the rest comes down to money at the time. EDIT: Do I spy a new GRAPPLE HOOK mold on that helicopter that iamded posted? (thanks iamded!) Batbrick Something! *wacko* Edited January 23, 200817 yr by Batbrick
