Regarding 2230, that is only one half of the set of instruction booklets, hence the inventory on the bottom. The other half should hopefully show up soon!

I'd probably be dead if I did that in either case :-( I've never heard of this before though! In all my trips to Milwaukee and Madison even |-/ I had no doubt in california or new york, they would, but maybe here in Wisconsin were just not fancy smancy :-P

Remindes me of a funny story though :-$ Once cruising through madiscon, there was just a cop with a speed gun and a walkie talkie sitting in a plastic lawnchair next to a busy curvy section of road in the city (one people would love to speed on.. hint..)

And afew hundred feet down the road are three cop cars with flashing lights and three other cars pulled over :-$ Was just such an odd thing to do it seemed to me, but works!

2230 will be a really nice set! I thought that the minifig on the raft would be a CG man but it seems that it is a "normal" minifig. It would be a pity if this set is only an airline promotional because I'd like to buy it, too and even for an affordable price!

Like 2007, 2008 really seems to be a great year for City fans - especially for harbor fans! *y*

BTW; Anybody else getting sets later than usual? I'm not thinking only City here, but I've noticed that the CITY cargo sets (april), tiny turbos (april), SpongeBob (june), Indiana Jones (may) and some other stuff arrives much later than the rest of the world.

I'm fearing that we may not see Coast Guard up here in the north 'til august. :-/

Hmmm... I'm very interested in that lighthouse. I'll buy it, but it's going to need major MODs. >:-) First, put in a proper Fresnel lens. Next, make a proper tower. Hopefully, build a cliff for it to go on....
