Er... 8-| it's only as new as about a decade.

Er...I meant new to me? :-$

Damn, well I've never seen one, think of all the cool mocs that could be achieved with it! :'-)

I will now devote the rest of my life to mastering that "new" piece, and proving to you all that though not new, it can be reinvented!

Batbrick Something! *wacko*

Thanks Steve!

The engine piece used in these instructions looks new to me... 8-|

Well there goes my idea to make a copy of it and turn it into a small Army Helicopter :-/

i guess i could find some other piece for it. :-/

Tks guys for all these new pics ;-) Dang I hate beeing computer less home, I always miss the goodies |-/

Where are these new set coming from ? I mean that raft and copter is not part of the Coast guard line (judging by the pilot torso and colour of the line). Anyhow itys such a sweet little set *wub*

Sure the raft needs to be ripped of all the crappy blue parts but it sure does look cool !! And that copter is simple yet great witha superb new engine part !!

What I don't get is the 2 other small sets: that police quad and digger. Are they suppose to be promo sets ?

And I love that harbour pic !! I always loved that theme but seeing that pic makes me want to get it even more !!

City ON !!

*yoda*

I think they might be part of the second wave of impulse sets.

I hope that helicopter gets released in Tas, I want that grapple hook! *wub*

IMO they are way too big to be part of the impulse sets ;-) I wonder when they'll come out. Will it be part of the february city line (with the policer water plane...)

Good point there, the skeleton impulse are big enough, and these are bigger, so they are probably either promos or just small sets. I doubt they'll be out with the waterplane though, the waterplane is already at my stores, I think these are scheduled with the coast guard lime maybe 8-|

I really *wub* these 08 sets, normally i never buy city but i thnk i'll make an exception this year and I agree with BB that grapple hook and plane *wub*

  • 2 weeks later...

Tks to SimonWillems for this sweet pic ;-) Its a scan of page 40 of the Dutch catalog.

I really love it !! Its a great action scene like Lego knows how to do ;-)

*yoda*

Thanks SimonWillems and Yoda, this pic is great. It looks exciting and gives us a clearer and different shot of the great sets. I hope I can get that lighthouse set, I must.

Batbrick Away! >:-)

Yeah, thank you very much, guys. Looks great indeed! Now bay wa, ahem, coast guard on.... :-P *y*

Edit: Nevermind!

As for 2230, I love it, I like the Ras face, and the raft construction seems to involve no <insert that tiresome argument> pieces!

Sorry if this has been posted, but here's the 2008 city calendar :-$

Looks pretty nice with a new style for the box art, very interesting. Thanks, TinyPiesRUs! :'-)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow on.... X-D

Honestly, you don't think it's just an early draft for the calendar's design? It doesn't look particularily well-drawn.

And I see the helicopter has a new windscreen, rather than an old one. The old one was three, and not two, bricks high, but had the same shape otherwise.

I think I'll be getting a ton (or two tons) of these:

2230-1.jpg

Maybe, just Maybe this set is part of another one, the bag does say 1, and, although it might refer to the single numbered baggie in a small set, it might also be part of a larger set.

7739 is a gorgeous piece of work *wub* I just simply adore the fact that they've politely thrown in a gentle hint towards the old Diver's theme (with the dive and crane in the big ship)

7738 I also amazing, I like the shuttle pod in the water, maybe they should give us a Mars Mission guy in there? Just for kicks he could get mauled by the shark. :-P

Cache Pic of 2230:

No! :'-( You used to bring me good news Chuck! How could you betray me? *sing*

One word CRAP !!

That was such a brilliant set and yet again its a bloody promo >:-( Damn, I should fly more often :-D

*yoda*

I thought it was clear from the beginning that it was an airline promo :-/ i.e., 2 instruction booklets for a small set.

Why is that ? The previous airline promos did not have 2 distinctive instructions booklets

Not to me. The new Exo-Force Battle Aracnid has two books afterall.
